| Â Â Â So Bart, Jim, Tristan and REALLY wanted some 500 point assassination practice, so we set up the double teleport temple, and this was the band I used.
Type 2 500 Point -------------------------- 4 Ice Archon 3 Drow Wand Mage 1 Drow Blademaster 2 Warrior Wight --------------------------
Now, being a pro SSBM player, I just applied my knowledge of in game mechanic with this army, and it came out on top... no really, my friends, who were fielding multiple DANGEROUS large creatures, were MAD when they found out my elite task force had put them away in points, I lost 2 figs, and did not lose one Ice Archon. How did I do it?       Well, it's teleport temple...
All I really had to do was camp my corner and wand blast away :D The Archons really helped tie up incoming melee units... Tristan was using two bulette I had to be cautious about my mage placement.
It's bad when you have 3 mages firing away at 25 damage a pop, not to mention the crits I rolled ;D on the first activation, then another on my second mage activation. :D Good times.

| I have also thought about such an army, but for a 400-point tourney.
The combination of these two figs is wonderful, I have played them quite a few times already and they are great:)
The almost-epic AC of the Archon is very hard to hit, they auto-hit their enemies thanks to the rerolls and can also Slow the enemy. Astral Stalker would also fit nicely there.
What did the others play? | | 2007 & 2008 Czech Republic Champion 2008 Czech Republic's Player of the Year
2.0 Champion of Necromancers! (preferably not Evil:-)) Next Icon Called Shot: Baldur's Gate pack - Khalid, Jaheira, Minsc (and BOO!), Imoen, Xan, Sarevok... | | The others played some pretty mean armies. all were evil as well. They consisted of minis such as Beholder Lich, Magma brute (which I was going to field 4 of in combination with EoF, Immolleth, Death Knight, and Vamp. Viz. which all combo extremely well,) Bulettes (for my friend Tristan,) and Mounted units... I think... all I know is I was the only one without a creature with large cone capability.
