I like the cow and chicken combo (Baphomet+Vrock), but that's just because of the name :).

Baphomet + anything that Charges is nice.Â

As a base I might start with:

Baphomet 66
Wild Elf Warsinger 9
(a Wild Warband)

Add any of the following:

Thrall 43
Virtuous Charger (unless they make it Good) 40
Exarch of Tyranny 54
Griffon 22
Wyvern 57
Orc Banebreak 52 (charging at +16, with WeW can do 45 dam vs non mounted targets)
Mounts 16

A few weeks ago I played against:

Champ of Baphomet 66
Brass Golem 67
Valiant Cavalry 32
+ fodder

Three (or more) chargers, rerolls of missed charges from Champ, and several pushes made it a rough team to play against... though I like the Champ/Golem combo.

Great ideas, I was planning on using the warsinger with thw Champion of Baphomet.

Baphi + Cyclops, should be green, too. Also Blessed Hunter UNH has double attack on charge, as does Dire Tiger.

In blue, he's very squishy, so consider playing some MGs.

What more, you have Blindsight for Hellspike.

he's one of my favorite pieces and I havnt found an amazing combo for him yet.

If you could get him and wulfie together there would be a fantastic synergy.

IMO the Champ and the Cyclops have "amazing" synergy even better when you throw in a Wild Elf Warsinger.

I would love to have those 6-10 points off of him to account for pit death by push. I think that would help a ton. Right now I think I like:

Champ o' baphomat
thrall
virt charger
Snaketongue
WeW

I hopehorse and rider gets useable on charge in the revision. If not you use baphomat to push people around and charge again or at least get skirmish for the virt charger. Immune to confusion on 2 of three hitters is nice and the thrall can charge kill anything with 60-80 hp on the round of engagement thanks to the WeW and snaketongue for good hp. As a funny aside you can use baphomat second att option to cause a piece to use a basic att vs. The thrall to trigger new thrall. I don't know if trying to kill your own piece is useful but as that is a nice way to make a lot of figs deal with that possibility.

I've played the following quite a bit and have enjoyed it.

Champ o' Bapho
Cyclops (x2 - and you gotta have one of the GMR repaints!)
Snaketounge Cultist (never seen a bigger TARGET than this guy, but it usually does the trick!)
Ice Mephit (x2 - gotta love those cones!)
Krenshar (he fit point-wise and can mess with the field of play if positioned correctly)

7 activation "Wild" band played on Hellspike (Cyclops chargin through smoke!) - 200 points

My one comment - DON'T FORGET ABOUT "EVIL EYE", it's what makes the Cyclops worth 42 points!

One way to get around the whole 'squishy' bit with Baphomet is to use him with a Kalashtar Bodyguard. It's a lotta points to be sinking in, but when Baphomet is sticking around that much longer, he's freakin scary.

Can't you see the attacks flying everywhere? If you keep the Enforcers positioned correctly around the Baphomet, there will be some serious extra damage going on.

2x Baphomet

2x Snaketongue

Filler.

It's like 4 creatures that hit for 30 instead of 2.  They can also use their champ powers on each other.  Snaketongues also have +10 poison to a couple of the Champs melee hits.  Lots of damage if you can get in close.  Reach 2 helps with making sure the snakes swiftnesses will hit something.

@ Lord Rock: I was referring to the Enforcer's Riposte ability. Four of them, each with 3 uses of Riposte. Granted, it's a modest +13 (+15 with flanki... combat advantage *shakes head*), but it's 20 damage from a 16 point fig.

Man, I wish they still had Conceal 6...
