Hm. Says the Tomb Guardian:
Multiple Threats: All enemies adjacent to this creature grant combat advantage to attackers

Says the Holy Errata: While mounted, both rider and mount are considered to occupy the mount’sentire space, and are adjacent to one another.

Has anyone given this a shot? Yeah, it's an expensive as hell combo, but wow... good times! Extending the reach of the STG is just sick with the Cascade of Steel, since you don't have to target the same creature each time.

Adorable?? You wouldn't know 'adorable' if it ripped your throat out with it's teeth!!

Yes, I have seen it played and it did ok at the tournament I was in.  The biggest issue is getting the STG onto the Nightmare as he starts out as a Wandering Monster.Â

Now if only we can get a Tiny figure that can ride on the STG's shoulder while it's on the Nightmare, then we'll have some real stacking fun!

But, seriously, this is a nice way to extend power. The Werewolf Champion on a Warhorse is just sick because he has Cleave, and on the Warhorse, the WWC can threaten a lot more pieces with that Cleave.

Now that I've seen it in action, I'm impressed. Granted, I did lose the game (nothing will save you from cold dice), but it was certainly fun getting that Cascade of Steel off with double (depending on the angle, more) range. Although I'd be a lot happier with some more attack bonuses. But hey, we can't have everything.

@ Sirohk: No kidding about that wandering monster bit. I think it's slightly absurd to have him as a wanding monster. Not only did that make it a little difficult to get him on his burning pony, but seriously... there's no need for that. AC 20 is plenty drawback for 100 potential damage.
