No, and that's the beauty of the Elf Pyro. It's a fantastic piece in its own right. I bring it because it's awesome in general. It just *happens* to make matchups againts HHs easier.
Yeah, and I think the same goes for the Red Samurai and other pieces with either DR or fire resistance/immunity. I'm not sure that the HH is going to necessitate hate bands.

Elf Pyro is great. His Energy Resistance/Protection from Energy spells work well vs. a number of competitive figures. In Epic, he's usually a must-include for me when playing CG. | | Champion of Gnomes

How are you doing with your tests of the Tier 1 bands, Guy?
I don't do the tests; the community does. I collect the data from tournament results.

It's not clear yet. Very, very few 200 point constructed tournament reports have been posted since War Drums came out. I know what people are playing in a few leagues, but that's often very different from what people play in tournaments for prizes. | | - Guy Fullerton Official D&D Miniatures Net Rep

| Here's an example from last weeks 8 person tournament:
Shuluth, Duergar Champ x4, Kobold Miner x3 Aspect of Moradin, Iron Golem, Sacred Watcher, Lantern Bearer, Hill Dwarf x4 Marut, Rikka, Couatl, Warforged Bodyguard, Mialee, fodder Brass Samurai, Aspect of Kord, Wemic Barbarian, fodder Brass Samurai, Aspectof Kord, Xendrik Champ x2 and other stuff Shuluth, War Troll, Zakya Rakshasa, Ochre jelly(!!!), Kobold Miner, Skeletal Legionaire x2, something else I don't recall the other 2 bands, 1 of which was really immaterial, since it was barely Tier Eleventeen, let alone tier 1-3ish.
No Helmed Horrors, mainly because 3 of the better players here won't/don't use them and bring things to discourage their use by the other players (Marut/Couatl, Tri/Quad Red Sams, etc)

| No CE, as I'm holding out on busting out the Quad Eye of Gruumsh band until they forget I have them.
Plus, I still don't have a Wardrummer, was hoping to get one in one of the [packs we opened for prize draft. Instead, I got my 3rd Zakya Rakshasa

I didn't see a post in the Tournaments forum about this tournament, so it's not currently in my data.
To be useful, I need to see those warbands' win/loss totals, as well as have some idea of what each warband's matchups were. Knowing which players piloted each warband is also very useful data. Ditto for the format; swiss is sometimes more revealing than round-robin. | | - Guy Fullerton Official D&D Miniatures Net Rep

| can we stip whining about the helmed horror already. LE is a top dog now, by GenCOn it will be down a notch (remember CE tri/quad and CG IF bands around this same time last year)?
As long as LG keeps falling 1 step short, all will be good.[:p] | | They just don't know what's good in life...Conan, tell them what is good in life. To rip the boosters. To count the minis spilled out before you, and to hear the indifference of the women...
