| The same is true, by the way, with magical arrows, meaning you only get a +1 to damage, not +2. Although if you had a +1 Flaming Bow and +1 Ice Arrows you'd get both forms of elemental damage.
Magical bows are *much* better in 3.5 than they were in 3.0. What I like is buying special material ammo (like adamantine) and using it with a magical bow. Yummmmm.

| It's because you can use normal arrows and then make them magical by virtue of the bow. In 3e, if you fired a normal arrow with a magic bow, it wouldn't penetrate DR at all.

I believe that they would actually stack. As does fire and frost, etc.
