| Some GM Comments about the game i am playing in
"The concept of the game is its 330 years after Return.
The Republic is in a difficult position and slowly crumbling, crime is at an all time high, the Sith and jedi are in a holy war against each other...etc...
The group consists of 6 Players.
A soldier from Corellia. So far he is the "lets just kill everything" kind of fighter. A Togruta Scout/soldier who is going to try to become a Bounty Hunter one day. A Scoundrel who is a general theif and gambler. (also a cold blooded murderer.) A Jedi Gaurdian who is tride and true good guy. (A bit over the top good so far) A Jedi Counsuler who hasn't let anyone know he is a jedi yet. (wants to be like Palpatine) and until the last game A Wookie Jedi Gaurdian who had all his skill ranks in darkside powers and wanted to kill all wookies. (While on Kashyyyk managed to pass all his "tests" and not attack or kill any wookies, then he got ballsy and Challenged the Chief of the Village...bad idea).
4 players in the first two games murdered a person in Cold blood. Two were sly and had a reason. The other two were stupid and got caught. (One was the soldier, he got caught on camera killing a captured "spy", who was also still a commissioned Law Officer, so he get nailed for killing a cop) (Second stupid one the scoundrel, just shot a prisonor, while no one was looking.
Amazingly the Jedi Counselor got them both off the hook, and they are now in debt to him, and will NOT fail him again LMAO.
Its been a bit wild." | | My Current Wants/Haves List: http://www.maxminis.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2565 | |

| Dangle my pretty little worms! [:D]
Sounds like an interesting game. I always liked taking advantage of another persons stupidity in game myself. Yeah the Wookie is a good canidate for the Darksider Marauder class. Making one a Guardian ends up cutting you off from their Rage ability, that is unless you want those dark side points. Speaking of which could you give us a running total on peoples dark side points, I always found that an interesting indicatior of what was happening in game. [:D] | | Pathetic Earthlings. | | It's one of the flaws you unfortunatly find in the system. Does the fact that Wookies have acess to the rage feat mean they as a race are more prone to turning to the Dark side than others... | | Pathetic Earthlings. | | I'd say that the rigid codes of honor that wookies live by balance out the natural rage. Making them no more or less prone to the Dark SIde. That's just my feeling on it though. | | "We can't stop here...This Is Bat country!"

| In SWd20 it categorically states that a Wookie using their natural Rage ability does NOT incur any Dark Side points, it is a natural instinct. Even if they're a Jedi.
HOWEVER, a Wookie who uses ANY Force ability while raging cannot help but call upon the Dark Side. Using a Force skill or spending a Force point while raging, therefore, does attract DSPs. | | Support awesome games: Play Hecatomb!

| | I'll have to read the main book a little more closely next time, I could have sworn a raging force sensitive wookie was a darkside point machine. | | Pathetic Earthlings. | Do you know PC -game Rebellion? I once played it as rebels, and Luke once found out that Chewbacca was force sensitive [:D] Yup, I thought that here we sure have one dark jedi soon.
The game have some other interesting things caused by luck - once in the beginning of a game, when I was playing rebel faction again, I got information about Vader being on a diplomacy mission near a system under my control. I had two idle commando units nearby, and I thought 'what the heck', and sent them to kidnap Vader. Well, goodbye, it was nice to know you. After a week... I can image the 'real' events at the rebel office:
-"Yes, come in." -"Sir, we're back. Mission accomplished." -"Err... mission? What was your mission? Heh, I guess it wasn't to capture Lord Vader..." -"Yes, that's it. Here he is. Where shall we deliver him?" -URK!-

LoL, never did try sending my poor commandos on that kind of mission!
Back on topic, Interesting campaign but how long before goody two-shoes can't take it anymore that everyone of his group seem to be cold-blooded killas!? Which leads to the question, which one are you?? Cold-Blooded Bossk wannabe or Bounty Hunter of Justice! [:D] or somewhere in the grey... | | Has there been any new activity in this game yet? I'm curious to hear how the second session went after hearing about the first. | | "We can't stop here...This Is Bat country!"
