| | I'm hoping once the new movie makes it's splash that interest in new products will renew. I imagine we'll see something go into development any time now. It's Star Wars for crying out loud. It'll never go away. | | "We can't stop here...This Is Bat country!"

| | IIRC, the last official word I had was that wizards was getting out of SW d20; they were going to finish up the current run of Living Force and then be done with it. I heard this back in March, I think, but I can't find the memo in question. | | "Why am I all sticky and naked? Did I miss something fun?" -Vindicated champion of Tordek, Dwarf Champion | |

| | Unfortunately, there hasn't been a new source book since Ultimate Adversaries last summer. We're nearing the one year mark in a couple of months. WotC could change the line-up for the year, but it doesn't look promising. | | Trade & talk in real time on IRC! SERVER: irc.psionics.net CHANNEL: #maxminis SOFTWARE: PC | PC (free) | MAC

| I want a damn book on the Clone Wars period! I want stats for the mighty General Greivous!
On this matter, does anyone know if Shaak Ti survived the last chapters of Clone Wars? Mace cuts her down from where GG left her, but then everything goes to hell in an express elevator...
She was one of my faves*, and Orli Shoshan (the actress under all that makeup) is seriously hot. If she's still alive, then there's a chance that she'll be in the TV series.
*One scene, with her and Anakin. "WILL YOU STOP DOING THAT!?" "Doing what?" "Sneaking up on someone with an active Lightsaber!" | | Support awesome games: Play Hecatomb!

I hope the DVD adds these deleted scenes and doesn't just throw them in a deleted scenes sub-directory, like they did with AotC.

But what do you think of the Exalted system? I tried 3-4 sessions of the system it was ok but I wasn't impressed with it either, I felt the original D6 system of SW was better. I've been playing in an Exalted game for nearly three months now, I'm pretty sure the modified version of it would work better than the D20 system. | | Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûk, agh burzum-ishi krimpatul

| You serious Sean-Kahn? DAMMIT! Only way anyone would get her is with suprise, since you are never gonna outrun a Togrutan Jedi.
Sounds more and more every day like a boatload got cut. That DVD better have the deleted scenes on it, I wanna see the WHOLE story.
And Monsoon, its all a moot point in terms of hottest woman in Star Wars, since it does have Natalie Portman in there. Amy Allen gets an advantage from the Twi'Lek law*.

| Warning Spoiler
In the book she wasn't shown being cut down. She let Anakin in the building but what happens after that is left to the imagination. The book was vague about the outcome of a lot of Jedi. When order 66 was enacted the clones turned on Jedi across the galaxy but it didn't specify any scenes. I'm still waiting on the movie to see who they openly kill off.

But still a nice big spoiler warning isn't a bad idea.

| Anyone not going to premiere and trying to avoid spoilers should be sitting in a dark room with hands on hears and repeating a mantra to not be spoiled about the movie [:)] Actually, that should have been done for half a year before the movie when looking at the amount of material leaked before...
Funny, I read about the plotline half a year ago, but everyone crushed it as a fake. It wasn't... Also, two-three months ago the whole movie leaked to public in form of ~200 photos and some text. | There are no plans by WotC to produce any new materials in the next year. They are totally focused on their minis because it has a wider market: RPG use, mini gamers, SW collectors.
I have personally talked with people (via e-mail) who actually write SW RPG material for WotC and the official company policy. On hold indefinitely.
Doesn't mean you cannot enjoy the game though. Many people still play d6 and it has been out of print since the ice age.

I can confirm the part about the RPG being dropped; WotC Delegates have been told to let store owners know this, if anyone asks. But what hasn't been confirmed is whether or not they plan to release many more SWMs beyond the upcoming Universe set. . . | | Lance Hawvermale -- Writer/Editor, Necromancer Games Completed Trades: 67 My Vision Quest: www.lancehawvermale.com
