| quote: The campaign revolves around the city of Cauldron, a metropolis in the Greyhawk campaign setting....A hardbound Greyhawk book...YAY!
Hmmm. I trust Erik Mona when it comes to all thing Greyhawk. But where is this metropolis supposed to be? I've never heard of it, and while not THE master of all things Greyhawk, I can usually cover the bases.
I started getting Dungeon late last year, and probably got the last few pieces of the shackled city bit.. but didn't stare at them. I suppose if they are set in GH, I'll have to take a closer look.

Cauldron was not part of the Greyhawk campaign setting until after the adventures started comming out. As a matter of fact after the 1st two or three adventures there were people writing into the fanmail part of the magazine asking where Cauldron was located in the Flanaes.
It wasnt until Dungeon started releasing the 4-part giant Greyhawk map did they oficially give it a location. I'm at work so cant tell you right now where it is but I do recall finding it on the giant map. | | Champion of the Skulk Vindicated Champion of the Twig Blight

| | It is cool that they are making it as a book abd updated the 3.0 parts to 3.5........But being that I am running it now and the group is about half way done and I have all the dungeon mags with the adventures in I won't be buying it. | |

| I, too, have all of the Dungeon issues with the Shackled City Adventure Path. The Hard-bound version is supposed to contain a bonus adventure.
I'm going to live with the magazines. $60 is too much for a 2nd copy of something I already have. | | Trade & talk in real time on IRC! SERVER: irc.psionics.net CHANNEL: #maxminis SOFTWARE: PC | PC (free) | MAC

| That's cool. My friend tried running us through that adventure, but we didn't get too far. He also had us running an evil party (same players) that was getting their hands dirty in some of the evil goings on of Cauldron, which would ultimately lead up to a confrontation of good and evil parties. We didn't get far, we fought a half-troll dwarf and had the orphan we were trying to rescue captured by a Beholder (we were 5th level, we weren't going to be doing anything about that any time soon...) and our evil party helped steal the wands that were controlling the water level of the lake in the middle of the city.
I also got to hear the story of another group running this adventure and their unfortunate run in with a Grell... | | Successful Trades (31) | Trades Pending (0) 12th Place in the 2005 Nationals, and I owe it all to the Minis Training Montage. Champion of Celestial Giant Stag Beetles

| Hello,
Read through the adventures as they came out in the magazine. A very interesting adventure series, but a little lacking in spots. I am sure that those gaps will be fixed in the hardcover. As I am not DMing at the moment it is unlikely I will buy the book, but I might depending on the reviews once it comes out.
I do wich the Paizo Dungeon/Dragon crew the best of luck with the project, however.
