| Sorry, that's a different Fenris I guess. I've been over to that website before and looked around, considered buying it more than once, but I don't think I ever posted.
It seems like a great program, what holds me back is two things. First, I don't have access to a large-format printer, and assembling 8.5x11 sheets of paper kind defeats the purpose IMO. Second, I dunno how you'd cover parts of the map that the PCs haven't been to yet, without having some kind of clumsy fabric that gets all bunched up and gets in the way.
So I can't really answer your questions, sorry.

| Fenris: I suspected it wasn't you, but one can always hope!

Yep, but that is why I'm looking at using a projector connected to my laptop (see the thread that Lab Monkey started a few weeks back). You can place DM only stuff on a seperate layer, and only reveal what you want that way...

| I've played with the demo of Dundjinni. My opinion is that it's too little for too much. But YMMV.
The maps are nice though, especially for minis. | | Bite me.

| I am sorry I have no idea about underground groups. I do have the program however, and it is me on there boards (as I said in the past I am a message board junkie [)]).
I thought about converting RttToEE, but never got around to it. You are right they are very harsh on there copyright. I had to go through there EULA just to be sure I could use things with a module I plan on publishing.
Monte Cook has a forum for RttToEE over at http://p222.ezboard.com/bokayyourturn. If he has said it is ok for some one to use his maps then it is open game. You may want to check there. I have not been there in ages though so I have no clue.
I wish I could get my hands on a projector [:D]. Hope it was some help, ans sorry for the bad news. | | "...don’t try to outweird me, I get stranger things than you free with my breakfast cereal." - Zaphod Beeblebrox Champion of the Nymph!

| Thanks Oni.
It's not bad news, more of "no news" message I guess. I'm certain that people have converted published modules, it just a matter of finding people with whom I could share maps...
While Monte might give the thumbs up (in fact his latest adventure has the maps doen up by Dundjinni), he doensn't own any rights to the RttToEE.
sigh... this seems like a fair use issue to me. As long as no one is selling anything, you can't do squat with the map unless you own the adventure. Fluid needs to get a better grip if they want to see sales take off. I'm impressed by the program, but I'm not going to purcahse it solely so that I can toil for hours recreating something that dozens of others have probably already done.
I would LOVE to use there software to do a bit of work on my own, and access the treasure trove of maps that are assuredly complete on dozens of people's harddrives...
