| If you mean fans making them to wear on their belts at conventions...do a google search.
There are site out there telling you what old camera parts you need and all that.

We would go to the hardware store and buy a thin 3-4 ft stick, some styrofoam padding, duct tape, and a plastic tube. We would wrap the stick in the padding and duct tape it on. We would then insert the stick and the padding into the plastic tube with a "Handle" sticking out the the end, and duct tape the tube in place. Ah, those were the days. [:D] | |

| Has anyone heard of the SCA... not light sabers but you can get organized as you beat the @#%$ out of your friends with duct tape covered ratan sticks. And you can learn to really do it well.

Granted the last time everyone came over and got drunk there was a fair amount of carboard tube fighting. In the next couple of months I'll work on putting together some boffer weapon 'sabers. | |
