The Canadian dollar has been consistantly up at less than 20% exchange for over a year. Yes WotC charges us 30+% on every book. Our economy is, while not exactly booming, performing well enough to sustain such an exchange rate for the forseeable future. It is simply using the mindset here in Canada that our dollar is weak against the US greenback to squeeze that extra bit out of the Canadian consumer.


Oh, I agree that the price point is unjustified. I am just saying I understand why WotC likely does what it does.

I think we can all agree that cheaper books because of the economic climate would be better.
