Don't forget that Libris Mortis and Lords of Madness also have a lot of monster content -- albeit less monsters and more detail. In a similar vein is Draconomicon.

Additionally, the environment books will have a section for monsters as well (20 or so): Frostburn, Stormwrack, Sandstorm, Underdark.

I actually have Lords of Madness. I got a good deal on it (70% off listed retail price). I don't think I have ever opened it, though. I'll go peruse it.

Thanks.

The ones you listed in your initial post are it....at least those are the only monster exclusive books.

Pretty much almost every WotC D&D book has a monster chapter. Oriental Adventures, All the FR books that deal with a location, Vile Darkness, All 3 environment books ect.

Having just sat through a 15 hour gaming session where the DM constantly referred to pre-tagged pages of Libris Mortis, I can confidently say that that book has some kick-ass monsters in it. Exploding corpses, monk-vampires and spellcasting vampires that were unbelieveably powerful, undead dark nagas were just a few. I'm assuming Libris Mortis was powering these suckers, because I don't have a copy myself.
It was sort of a relief when we had five bone devils beating on us.
The nasty thing about the bone devils is that after the first one appeared (due to a trap being triggered), anyone who hit it (other than the person who triggered the trap) caused another to appear. You could only attack the one you caused to appear. So in one round we had five of them on us, going head to head. If your character wasn't a beat stick it meant the suckers were around for a long time against some of our party. Nasty trap by our DM.
Overall result of the day was that six of us went in and only 4 of us survived. We were all L15+ characters. Damn RTTOH modules.

I have always been here.

There are also some monsters in the miniatures handbook (that's about the only thing it is good for anymore though)

Theres also a TON of monster books for the older editions. Most can be picked up for dirt cheap or pretty close to it. Its pretty simple to convert them to 3.5 stats, heck if the book is cheap you could even just write on the pages. Ones I would specifically recommend are the monsterous compendium appendix ones. Most of the base book monsters have already been covered/converted somewhere.

Looking for someone to cosponser a midwest DDM event. let me know if your interested!

There is the Draconomicon as well.

If your looking for monster stats from earlier editions converted to 3.0 you may want to check out the Tome of Horrors by Necromancer Games.

You know, I keep thinking that after the new design team gets done with D&D 4e, D&D won't stand for Dungeons and Dragons anymore, because well, that's just not fun. It's old and stuffy. - Originally Posted by BabWryter on Kenzerco.com
