Im really excited about this news.
Lets just pray that Mariliths have been fixed cosmetically in the book's art. If they look all scaley in this book....we can all be sure so will the mini when it finally comes out. | |

I loved Draco and LoM, but didn't get much out of Libris Mortis. Hopefully this will be more like the former and not the latter. | |

I suspect that you are correct and that this book is a continuation of the series started by the Draconomicon. I too hope that it has the same high production values. I won't even mind reprints of stats from the Monster Manual if they give us enough extra information.

| | I agree with the hopes expressed above that WOTC takes the opportunity of a book on demons to get some better art for the marilith, so we can get one that looks like the iconic marilith from older editions when they do a mini of her. Her classic look is what makes her a great iconic fiend: beauty and humanity juxtaposed with cold serpent and many armed weaponry. The one in the third edition Monster Manual might as well just be another naga or yuan-ti. | |
