Jeb,

I really like the Divine Shield feat. I saw it in action against my group the other day and it was utterly rediculous. The demon blackguard-ish creature had a 34 charisma and so he was able to add a Bonus of 12 to his shield armor class...which stacked with his normal +2 large steel shield for a total of +16 to AC just from his shield. It was a tough, tough battle.

Some other feats
Divine might, if decent charisma
extra smiting
Close quarters fighting - sometimes your only savior against grapple
improved smite is cool
Sacred Boost if you have limited healing capability within the party.

If your GM allows it... take a look at the feats in Book of Exhalted Deeds. Some really great feats for the Holy Warrior type. Too many to even name in a single post. [:D] Besides, I loaned the book to a friend and don't have all the feats memorized.

Divine Might is *definitely* worth taking at some stage. (Complete Warrior).
