| Has there been any word about either Barrier Peaks or Tsojcanth being revised for 3.5?
I really enjoyed White Plume Mountain and Tomb, and was disappointed when I tried to find a new update for the S-Series in the Downloads section and couldn't find anything. | | Champion of the Werewolf Lord, Knight of Anything Duergar, and Squire of Things Gnollish List reset with the start of previews for each new set...got Chainmail®?

| | AFAIK, those are the only two updated modules released thus far. I'm hoping there will be more, but they may only be released once every month. | | Trade & talk in real time on IRC! SERVER: irc.psionics.net CHANNEL: #maxminis SOFTWARE: PC | PC (free) | MAC

Well they have only done the 2 so far. They were about a month apart when released so i would expect to see another one in January. | | Completed Trades: Crescent Hawk, Vimes, demagogue, vidman, Eric is God, Strachan Fireblade, FungiMuncher, Dudeeehm, Shasack, gausse, kyrin, nyjastul69 Champion of the Remorhaz

Yeah, I'd like all of those.
I'm hoping they'll do Tsojcanth, but I'm also hoping they put a decent story behind it if they do. | | WotC - making me wish more and more every day for a return to the TSR days. :( I fought the snark and the snark won. I'm baaaaaaaaaaack!

Well, I had thought (going from memory here--that's never good!) that White Plume came out right around Halloween, and that Tomb came out the last week of November.
That's why I had my hopes up. I guess, I'll just have to wait through January to see, though.
I've already got a binder and sheet protectors for those modules--When I get the time/motivation/$$$ I'm going to go to the copy place and have the .pdfs printed out on the quality color printers....

| Of course, one of the problems is that the classics are so sought after because so many have good memories of them. In other words, it's hard to run them again for those who liked them the first time simply because they already know so much about it. That said, there's enough interest in my gaming group that I'm going to run White Plume anyway.
But I also just picked up Heroes of Horror and I've been looking for an excuse to use Libris Mortis for quite a while. So I'm modifying some of the monsters, heavily modifying the atmosphere, and adding some of the taint mechanic (from H.o'Horror and originally Oriental Adventures). I'm actually getting somewhat excited about running the "new" version as I'm hoping it will cause quite a reaction with the players...
Some of the modifications include changing the vampire to be one of their former acquaintances who "failed" to bring back the weapons of legacy, and Sir Bluto's gang is now Tainted Minions who were originally part of the PCs army. The giant crab is now a Huge Taint Elemental (Nightwalker mini) in the middle of a bubble of greasy, black, tainted water.
It'll be a couple of months before I get to run it though -- they're in the middle of another adventure right now, will need a couple of more levels before they can enter the mountain, and we're alternating this campaign with another.

| One of the first ones I ever played was the Isle of Dread(first being Border Keep), which Dungeon did re-do a year or so ago. But the second part Castle Amber is one I would also love too add too that list. Ahhh the memories! Man some of theses are awesome...love the classics.
