| Hexblade is in the Complete Warrior, and it's a base class.
I'm not 100% sure about the Shamen.
There is an Adept Class in the DMG that works very well for NPC shamen. | |

| Spirit Shaman is in Oriental Adventures. It was updated (and by updated I mean fragged) in Complete Divine as the Shaman class.

Seriously my brother-in-law played a Spirit Shaman from Complete Divine in a previous campaign and had lots of fun with it (I wasn't playing with him at the time). I believe he used it as a base to take Master of Shrouds from Libris Mortis (a creator/summoner of incorporeal undead). He was playing an evil PC. I think its a pretty cool class since you it plays like a sorcerer with a Druid's spell list, but somehow you can change your spells known each day (pray for them at dawn or something). Worth considering as an alternative spellcaster, as is the Hexblade. | |

| | Silly me, I own the OA book, but I think it is 3.0 and I tend not to trust it. I always wondered why the Ninja character class was not inside. Could it be because it was only added in 3.5 ? | Ninja was never a character class in 3.0 there were however two PrC's Ninja of the Crescent Moon in Sword and Fist and the Ninja Spy in Oriental Adventures.
Now the crescent moon ninja is supposed to be updated by the ninja core class in complete adventurer. Except in my opinion they don't match as the crescent ninja were more of a soldier type where as the ninja core class fits more with the ninja spy as infiltrators and assassins.
The reason they never updated it was because the original Crescent ninja AC enhancement stacked with those of the ninja and could quickly lead to very high AC's before you even reached character level 10 add to this the good BAB progression and they were a force to be reckoned with. | |

| | If you can find a Kingdom of Kalamar Player's Guide they've a PC class Shaman that has a more rustic, natural feel then the Oriantal version. Animal totems and all. If you want I could always throw it in an email and send it to you when I get home tonight. | |
