| | My group will be facing off against a bunch of these buggers and I was wondering what you thought would be a good mini as a proxy? I was thinking the mad slasher, but wasn't 100% sure because it is obviously missing the look without the head and neck. | | Give me more MIND FLAYERS! | |

| That's a tough one. Here's a few ideas, but none are very close:

| I think the Mad Slasher is as good as you're gonna get, at least until March.
(FWIW, I think there's a decent chance we'll see Neogi in the next set or two, and I think the piece might make the venerable Umber Hulk playable.) | | Jeff "Wayne Laredo" Wilder | Email | Have/Want List | Trade Policies | Are You an Ethical Trader?

| This one is kind of difficult since neogis are size small.
You could maybe cut the heads off of some halfling sneaks and stick them on mad slashers... | | Anson on WotC boards | |

| | You know, I've never used neogi in my games ... but I always pictured them as large creatures. Heh ... | | Thanks for the thoughts. Most creatures you can come up with a decent proxy. This was a tough one. This is the first time the group will encounter such a creatuire and I hope that they do come out with the mini soon. The mad slasher, halfling sneak head is pretty interesting!!! Nice thought IanB. I actually cut off the head of one of my warrior skeletons, attached it to a base and used it as a demi-lich. Looks pretty good. | | Give me more MIND FLAYERS! | |

huh? The neogi looks like a cross between an eel and a wolf spider. Not a halfling and a spider. I'd recommend a displacer serpent head on a spider of lolth (cut off the spider's head and glue on the serpent head). If the serpent head is too big, maybe take an iron cobra head, shave off its hood, and paste on a beheaded spider. | | Champion of Neogi

I picked up a few of these for the same reason. There's no huge bug in DDM (not yet anyway) and these will work very well for that purpose. | | WotC - making me wish more and more every day for a return to the TSR days. :( I fought the snark and the snark won. I'm baaaaaaaaaaack!

| | Yeah, the displacer serpent head on a spider of lolth is maybe an even better suggestion! Either of these two are not that bad sacrifices. | | Give me more MIND FLAYERS! | |
