| Ok this may be chalk up as another stupid question (and I'm sure if I spent time poring over my books I could find the answer)
Creatures with spell-like abilities eg: the dreaglolth
Can they use these spells without the required components.
v,s,m, etc.? | |

| Spell like abilities don't require any components at all.
From the SRD:

A spell-like ability has no verbal, somatic, or material component, nor does it require a focus or have an XP cost. The user activates it mentally. Armor never affects a spell-like ability’s use, even if the ability resembles an arcane spell with a somatic component.

Also use of a spell like ability provokes an AOO despite it being a totally mental act. | | | |
