| I have tried looking in the PHB for the answers and can't find them. Sorry if these are really basic questions for some of you. If you want to answer the question by telling me what page the answer can be found on, that would be excellent.
RANGED SNEAK ATTACK In the Rogue section of the PHB it says Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks if within 30 ft. 1. Does the "victim" have to be flat footed for this to work? 2. Is there any such thing as ranged flanking? 3. Can the rogue be hidden, and attack from unaware and do sneak attack damage after the "victim" has already moved and is no longer flat-footed?
FIGHTING WITH TWO WEAPONS Say the character is wielding two weapons. 4. If they do a single attack, do they use their primary attack as though they are not duel-wielding (without duel-wielding penalties)? 5. If they choose to do a full attack with only their primary weapon on a given turn, do I use the duel-wielding adjusted bonus(es) or do I use bonuses based on wielding just the primary weapon?
Thanks for your patience in answering these questions or telling me what page to find the answers on. | | "Look to God and live." Alma 37:47 Vindicated Champ of Hippogriff (Arcadian Hippogriff) and Uncommon Horse

use bonus as if using only 1 weapon, but you cannot use that second weapon until your next turn. | | First peon to make it to "Knight Warlord" Completed Trades -148-

A point here is that if you chose to do this you will NOT get the benefit of two-weapon defense or similar feats. | | Champion of the Beholder and Beholderkin

| If you wish to have ranged sneak attack, there's a spell in the Complete Adventurer, Arrow Mind (Wiz/Sor/Rgr 1st) that makes you threaten your normal melee reach, hence you can flank and sneak attack with a bow. Furthermore you do not provoke AoO. Not only that, its casting time is immediate. If you ask me this spell is completely broken (take 1 level as a wizard/sorcerer and kiss the order of the bow prestige class goodbye), but it's out there... | | Champion of Cockatrices.
