I got to take a look through it. It takes all of the chosen articles, updates them for 3.5, then presents them in full color pages. It looks pretty good, but I don't know if it's worth the price, honestly. I know I would have trouble after seeing information from Dragon magazines I already own. | |

| I got it as a Christmas gift from my girlfriend. It's got a ton of cool information, outstanding art direction, and it's huge. If I hadn't recieved it as a gift, I'd buy it. Hope that helps a little

| There's a bunch of reviews on it at Paizo. The consensus seems to be that there's not as much old stuff as was expected/desired (about 20-30% pre 3.0 material) and if you have your Dragon collection indexed and well-organized it's not worth it. However, for those who don't have every issue going back 10 years, it's a pretty good "best of".
I've just ordered it and expect to have it in a week or two. If this thread is still active then, I can probably give a better review. I don't have many Dragon issues. My brother-in-law had a subscription for the last couple of years and I have many of his issues, but by no means a complete set so I'm expecting it to be quite useful for me. | |

| I have it and its very cool.
Its almost like a PHB2 at first. First chapter is Races, then Classes, then Prestige Classes, then Feats, then Equipment...Then its has new magic items and new Monsters.
Theres also a chapter of just "the best of.." kinda stuff from old Dragon issues like an chapet on runes and another on creating riddles and 101 adventure ideas.
If you dont have a collection of Dragon issues this book is fantastic!!
Most of the stuff in the book is from 3rd edition...But a portion of it is from old 1st or 2nd edition issues that have been updated.
Best of all is every magic item and monster and class ect has a little note mentioning its 1st appearance in Dragon.
I give it a Thumbs Up.
Its only flaw is its compatability with DDM. Since this is all stuff that never ended up in a D&D book and only in Dragon Magazine I doubt we will ever get minis of the races or monsters in its pages. | |

There are few free PDFs and I'm fairly certain the Draconomicon is not one distributed in this fashion. Most PDFs available easily on the internet are the intellectual property of Wizards of the Coast and copywritten material.
Make no mistake, obtaining a PDF copy of the Draconomicon or any other book not distributed free and in that fashion is stealing. Stating your intentions to steal or defraud any company or organization on this site will not be permitted.
