Without sounding like bashing Wizards, I respectively disagree with Wizard's solution to fixing Polymorph. In my opinion, I think they managed to "fix" the stuff that didn't need fixing. With this and "Complete Mage", I think the writers need to take the suggestions on the wizards boards a little less seriously... However, to those that think it's about time for something like this, I say great! [:)] It's about time! [:p]

The stink of rotten meat surrounds this multilegged creature with a segmented, 10-foot long body. Eight writhing tentacles protrude from its head, growing directly from below its clacking mandibles and tooth-filled maw.

I've seen a number of references in this thread to "Druids losing Animal Growth" due to the new errata. I can't seem to find this bit. I guess I am being dim, but could someone point me in the direction of the text that states this ?

Frank

P.S. To everyone complaining about Druids not being able to use items in wildshape form, you can take them off first, then wildshape, then put them back on.

P.P.S. Wild armour will still work for those worried about a wildshaped druids a/c

Frank:

The 'loss of animal growth' is refering to wildshaped druids no longer being eligible targets, as their type doesn't changes under the new wildshape. Accordingly, although their animal companion and summoned animals may be the targets of animal growth, the druid may not be the target when wildshaped.

As for just putting the stuff back on after the wildshape: only if you have: a.) the time to do so, and b.) someone willing to dress you. Most bears have trouble putting on a cloak.

As for wildshaped armor (and wildling clasps for items), they cost money and are rarely found as treasure. Accordingly, the druid must fork over lots of extra cash, and may not be able to find a source for these items in the setting in which he is playing.
