| If a Ranger took the toughness feat, then contracted Lycanthrope from a werewolf, would the wolf form gain the +3 HP? Thanks Chris | | My Trading Thread | |

| Toughness is a one-time 3 hp bonus, not a bonus 3 hp per hit die.
If you meant the Improved Toughness feat, then the bonus is 1 hp per hit die, not 3, and yes, the ranger would get 2d8 + (animal form's) Con modifier + 2 (improved toughness) hp. | | Champion of the Entire Monster Manual 1! | Thanks. Basically, my ranger was 5d8+8 before Lycanthrope, then contracted it. Now, he's 5d8+8 plus 2d8+9 due to the attack.
Actually, this is all part of a mystery adventure for the party, where a group of Lycanthrope hunters have been attacked, one bitten, and the other killed by him. The dead man's son has nowinherited his masterwork silver dagger, but it's been stolen. I also added Humanoid (Shapechanger) to the Ranger's Favoured Enemies list. | | My Trading Thread | |
