| Hello, my buddy is starting a new campaign and I'm going to play a Hexblade. I noticed that their wasn't any new hexblade spells in the Spell Compendium, so I was wondering if their are any other books that contain new spells? Thanks in advance!

There is a little advice in the beginning of the S.C. for assigning out the spells to the new classes, including hexblades. You sort of have to do the work yourself on those. | |

| Complete Arcane and Complete Adventurer each add a few spells to the Hexblade list. The specific spells are as follows (all of these are included in the Spell Compendium; see that book for details):
1st-level Hexblade Spells:
Backbiter
Distract Assailant
2nd-level Hexblade Spells:
Critical Strike
Invisibility, Swift
Phantasmal Assailants
Whirling Blade
3rd-level Hexblade Spells:
Spectral Weapon
4th-level Hexblade Spells:
Assay Spell Resistance*
Shadow Form
Unluck**
*: This spell was called "Assay Resistance" in Complete Arcane
**: Unluck first appeared in Complete Arcane with a spell level of "Bard 4, Sor/Wiz 4", and was designated in the sidebar as a 4th-level Hexblade spell. The new version in the Spell Compendium has been dropped to "Bard 3, Sor/Wiz 3"; thus, it should probably become a 3rd-level Hexblade spell as well. | |
