| If any of you folks are RPGA players and are interested in playing in the Xendrik Expeditions Campaign at Gencon, I'll be DM'ing a bunch of the events. I know a handful of Maxminis members that have already signed up for my slots.
The Xendrik Expeditions Delve is especially kick-@$$ because we'll be throwing everything we've got at it. Full dwarven forge setups, promo miniatures, wicked spell templates. Lots of eye candy and the best DM's (self excluded :p) WoTC can muster. It's a fast and furious kick-in-the-door dungeon crawl BRAWL that emphasizes fun, fun, fun.
Other than that, I'm the Author of the Black Wheel Company adventure series and Xendrik Expeditions Factionmaster for that group. If you're thinking about a X.E. RPGA mod, come see me during one of my slots.

Yeah, when they hire you, they kind of expect you to work. Strange concept, that. S'okay, I'm constructed retired, remember. You'd just be disappointed by the lack of challenge. [:D] I'm just thankful for the free Gencon setup, else I'd have been unable to go at all.

are the xendric campaign games pregenerated characters?
Where all is the setup info....thanks.
I have my events all ordered, but intentionally left
a couple of open slots to screw around with league
minis play or if I found another RPG event to my liking.

| I got the Blackwheel company principle of the matter on thursday at 6.
Bought it seconds after the prereg opened based on the title, thats really all I had to go on, I am trying to get into the 2nd faction adventure on sat at one, the only 5hr free spot I have (unless I make round 2 of the open), but it conflicts with something else I bought and I can't figure out how to dump the other event and pickup that one. If I have to I'll have a friend buy it for me.
One question I know they recommend you play the first faction adventure the 3 legs of well of woe then the second faction adventure. I'm wondering how important this is my buddy wants to play one of the adventures but not the whole 25 hour thing if I get him to buy me the 2nd faction event on saturday he wants to play but we aren't sure if thats a good idea. will there be too much he is expected to know or can you play it 'cold' without dissrupting the game. | | | |

I think you'll be okay playing in the 2nd faction adventure. I'm in the process of writing it now, the only difference might be the level. If you can get in with more folks your level, it should be fine. But, after Principal of the Matter and 3 legs of Well of Woe, some folks might be a bit more advanced. | |

I'm also jumping into this campaign... Knowing nearly nothing about Eberrson (time to buy that book...), I figure that i'll "support the local". Sounds like we could easily have an all MaxMini's group. Striderlotr has the same scedule that I do... We're doing the split on the Well of Woe on Friday, but frankly, I hope to be other wise occupied. Not sure what will happen in that case...
I don't think I'll have time for the DM's mark, but we'll see.

Typically there are several DM's running the same adventure at any given time. Players "Marshall" at a specific location, and parties are formed up based on Character level, and class types, and then DM's grab parties and go play. I think there were 16 or 20 available spaces, which means 4-5 tables, and thus, 4-5 DM's.
