I am going to buy the Red Hand of Doom and some fantastic locations adventure. But does he RHoD contains full size maps as they do in fantastic locations? And for fantastic locations if I have to choose one or two of them, which one is the best, and which is the second? Thx for help me out. :-)

More information would help answer this question.

Red Hand of Doom has one full-size map and two half-size maps (one page, double-sided, the two small maps are on one side, big map on the other).

For RPG I'd go with the Fields of Ruin and Fane of the Drow if I were to choose two. That gives a nice balance of indoor (dungeon-esque) and outdoor (ruined keep and road). Hellspike prison has nice maps, but they're rather specific (how many dungeons in a volcano are there?).

For skirmish I'd probably go with Hellspike and Fields of Ruin. Most of the Fane of the Drow maps aren't as useful in skirmish.

thx , zenthrus, I forgot it. What I concern the most is RPG use and then the skirmish use of these maps, and thx for you infomation, but I think that the fullsize maps in RHoD are not complete, right? I see there are about tens of maps in the map gallary of RHoD on Wotc's website. So I have to make some maps into fullsize when I run the game.....why they don't make every map into fullsize.....

For RPG, and especialy RHoD, i would say get Fields of ruin, it has some great RPG crossover use.

Just to irritate their customers [)]

There are a LOT of small maps (bridge-scene comes to mind) that are not represented by full-sized maps in RHoD. I'd gladly have paid an extra $10-15 and had more of the maps included. Alas....

The King's Road map from Fields of Ruin can be used with RHoD in several spots.

Don't get me wrong, I've loved what I've read of RHoD; but making all the maps is overkill. Especially at another $10-$15 (which it would likely cost). Some of us are still on budgets, y'know. [)]

For the big/critical encounters (or the ones that have maps that might be usable in Skirmish...)? Sure.

For "Bob's Tavern Brawl"? No.

We've got all sorts of things available for that. Megamats, Mondomats, Tac-Tiles, etc. You wouldn't want those to be pushed to the bottom of your toy box would you? [?]
