Having just attained ninth level divine spells, I'm wondering what the most creative use of the miracle spell is.

I am very intrigued by the opportunity to cast arcane spells of level seven or lower. I'm thinking Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion, or Permanancy. What others have you seen?

In an epic game I had once I would often quickcast Bladebarrier than use miracle for one of the Mordys hands spells to push/bullrush the target into or through the bladebarrier.

You're asking for a miracle so that you can amuse yourself by pushing people into blade barriers?

No wonder fantasy Deities get all pushy and want people smited all the time...

We were playing a 12 hour module and one of the last encounters
was just devastating. The bad guys were whipping our backsides
for quite a long time. We were able to turn the tide on the
two remaining combatants and as the last action of the bad guy
(he had zero hit points left) he cast plain shift or teleport
or something to get both of 'em away and collapse...
with all of our treasure no doubt.
Our Cleric got furious and used the miracle to bring
the baddies back so that he could finish off the live one...he
was a 19th level 1/2 orc cleric/divine deciple of Tempest.
The DM was taken back a bit...he didn't expect that.

We laugh still to this day about it.
