Hi everyone,

I believe i recall seeing a post on these boards where someone posted a link to printable maps for the Red Hand of Doom adventure, although slightly modified for use by players, i.e. without information such as the location of the fane of tiamat, and without letter-referenced encounter locations A, B, C, etc... on them. I've looked through the first few pages of this forum, but can't seem to find that link.

Would someone be kind enough to provide that link again, or email me the maps if you have them?

Thanks a bunch for any help,

Louis

I'd also like to get my hands on those if they exists. The map pictures on the wizards site are nice, but not usable for the game since they have too much information and are too low res.

I've seen the thread you've found, Glumag, and i'll probably use those maps. But these aren't what i had in mind, and i still think that someone edited the maps for the players. If i manage to find them, i'll of course post here.

Here's one link http://www.flickr.com/photos/58192041@N00/?saved=1[/url] to what i believe are higher resolution images of the maps that are otherwise available on the WotC site.

Still looking :)

I've briefly played with Photoshop to modify the Elsir Vale map (no, i didnt find anything on the net).

Firstly, am i going against any copyright by posting a slightly modified map? I doubt it since i simply took out reference to the Vraath Keep, the Fane of Tiamat, and what was left of the Ghostlord's lair, but otherwise use an available map from WotC web site. Any thoughts?

Secondly, if someone would be kind enough to explain how i attach a file to my post, i'll provide my map. Don't expect a work of art, it's my first time using Photoshop, but as long a someone isn't specifically looking for corrections, they should go unnoticed.

Okay, thanks for the info dumdragon.

Here is the Elsir Vale map as modified:

If my posting this modified image is illegal for some unknown reason, please advise and i'll remove it.

Edit: i should add that the original (higher res) file was taken from this site, and thus full credits go to its creator: http://www.flickr.com/photos/58192041@N00/?saved=1. I only slightly modified the map to take out the Fane of Tiamat, Vraath Keep and what remained of the Ghostlord's lair.

Can you please send a link to the laminated maps? I can't seem to find it. The only thing I can find are tiles.

If I recall the post that Vesivus mentioned that in, he only offered it to customers who bought the RHoD from him.

You're quite welcome Cosworth and Dumdragon.

Of course, the forest patch is obvious for one who knows where to look, and the mountains can be easily detected too. But for players who won't have any idea that the map has been modified at all, it think it should work out seamlessly.

He originally said that, but I did not buy RHoD from him and still got the maps. I sent him an email so he could reply to this thread.

Hello all.

I'm very sorry -- War of the Dragon Queen & Dreamblade has been keeping me too busy recently, and I haven't been able to get our info out on these maps (even to our website).

We have scanned in and edited the original maps from the Red Hand of Doom, and edited out any encounter labels, numbers, or 'secrets'. Zeb on this forum has purchased a full set from us, so he can vouch for the quality of our product.

We sell the maps (printed large-format and laminated) with full copyright credit to Wizards of the Coast. To our local customers, we also provide a rental service for over-the-weekend gaming.

If you'd like more information on these maps, please drop me a line at: order@vesivus.com

Thank you! [:)]
