| This is an item I want to use for an NPC. It will likly end up in the hands of the party at some time. It is a minor wonderous item.
Belt of quality armour When worn with non-magic armour that armour functions as +1 glowing armour. It has no effect on magic armour or when worn without armour. It has no effect on shields. cost: 2000
I am a little uncertain on the cost. It should be more then magical armour because of its versitaltiy, but it also becomes useless later in the game. It is not quite as benfitial as an amulet of natural armour, but almost.

I would disagree, the value of this should be higher than magical armor. The versatility is worth alot. Start with this on your chain shirt. Then use it on your masterwork chainmail. Then shift to your brand new mithral chain. Then shift to admantium platemail. Being able to move it around really gives it a higher value.
The value of around 2000 is a good idea.

Glowing actually does nothing other then Identify it as magic. Glowing is actualy a disadvantage. The point of making the armour glow is to make people believe the armour is magical.
I can't see it costing less then magical armour. As malin lug as say it is more versitle then magic armour+1. I know it is not a terrible powerful item, but I still like to have an app cost because once introduce some one will want to buy one sooner or later.

| | Makes sense. I can see both sides of the issue here. from my own perspective I would possibly buy it for my characters if it cost around 500 to 750 gold, but I'd probably never buy it if it cost more than that. I'd just get +1 armor instead. I think its an item that would work well as NPC equipment and might be used by PC's until they get a set of magic armor, but not as something you can buy from the store. The flexability is certianly nice, especially if it gets passed around the party at lower levels, but it has little use once characters get a little cash. | | Looking to buy some figures? | | 2000 or 2500 would be a good price in my opinion. Because if you look at a ring of natural armor, or ring of protection, i think +1 is 2000. However this is better because it gives you armor without using a ring slot, or amulate slot. Also it's another type of armor so it will stack with protection and Nat armor. I think its a good idea but might need some tweaking money wise. But then again, you could just get Bracers of armor to get the same thing done... | | Zardnaar, One dork to rule them all. | |

| | I'd also put it at a higher price than normal magic armor, but maybe around 1500 or so for two reasons. First, it is so useful especially when you are planning to change armor, especially if you want to upgrade to something costly like adamantine. One change in armor wihout adding magic as well pays for the item. Second, you are putting it in a belt slot. There are very few items that use this and those that a character who would buy this item would buy those (belt of strength) he probably doesn't need the belt anymore. | | Completed trades: blackthorne, Drakkengi,Thorgrin, Ironfist Boulderbender x2, ckissee, nasamonkey, Username, Star, Ace13 x3, emontedodger x2, Drconveyor, church, Joeyb, Sir Bozak The Damned, Xeromod, the other guy x2, Qucalion of Celene, Dagaron x2, berus316, qillan_dvra, AshloreDarkShadow
