...is up on the WotC site.
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20060726a

Couple things:
-Why do we need MORE Spawn of Tiamat? We just got what, 15 in the MM4?

-It's a little sad that the Steel Dragon, aka the Greyhawk Dragon, makes it's first 3.5 edition book appearance in a FR book.

So they can do a little crossover marketing by making more spawn minis.
The DL dragon spawn were and are better anyway, but I understand why they wouldn't make minis of those.

Thanks for the heads up. This is one I was looking forward to. I've been using the Steel dragon as a guildmaster in my game for a while using the stats from the Wizard's page, nice to see it in print. With these and the three from the Dragon Compendium, are there any dragons from previous editions not updated to 3.x yet?

Icons called shot: Angry Mob
The stink of rotten meat surrounds this multilegged creature with a segmented, 10-foot long body. Eight writhing tentacles protrude from its head, growing directly from below its clacking mandibles and tooth-filled maw.

Oh, scads, probably, though I suspect they're mostly the odd beast from old issues of Dragon or the 2nd Edition Monstrous Compnedia. The Electrum Dragon comes to mind (way back in Dragon #70something), and one of the Compendia had several more varieties of Linnorm than we saw in the MM3.

Cheers,

Mmm, definitely a matter of opinion. I greatly prefer the spawn to the draconians (which I find to be both boring and too setting-specific), personally.
