| I'm writing another blurb for a creature that's going to appear in a future KA issue. This critter, in the Realms, lives in the Middle Dark.
I'm not familiar with Eberron, anyone have any suggestions for locations that would be similar to FR's lower Underdark regions?
Thanks,

| | Eberron's Underdark is called Khyber. It's named for one of the three progenitor dragons, whose clashes formed the cosmos: Siberys above, Eberron in the middle, and Khyber, the Dragon Below. | | Jeff "Wayne Laredo" Wilder | Email | Have/Want List | Trade Policies | Are You an Ethical Trader?

"The depths of Khyber" should be sufficient -- Eberron's underdark hasn't been seriously mapped out, so I'd concentrate more on describing its habitant in the underdark than anything else. | | Champion of the Aboleth, Prophet of Denizens. BW Called Shot: Babau, UH Called Shot: Aspect of Vecna | |

| Or perhaps the Bowels of Khyber. . . [:0]
Depending on the nature of the creature, it could be found elsewhere as well. If it's an Aberration (or just really weird), it might congregate in areas near/above where the Daelkyr are imprisoned, which would be Droaam (I think), the Shadow Marches, the Eldeen Reach, and nearby areas. If the monster is more evil (especially demonic or diabolic), it probably hangs out in the Demon Wastes, which is where the Lords of Dust and other big baddies hang out. Lastly, Sharn is basically a clearinghouse for any oddness the GM wants to make available to his/her players, so whatever this thing is, a few of them are probably cavorting through the warrens/undercities/ruins/tunnels beneath the City of Towers right now. [:D]

| When you're talking underdark, in Eberron it's called Khyber. Certain nasties tend to appear at different depths, in different countries, and on different continents. The deeper you go the badder they get. Buried way deep are rakshasa rajas, and daelkyr. Up near the surface are cultists of the dragon below (often human, humanoids and their minions. Between the two are all sorts of foul creatures, aberrations usually, but also lots of other nasties. A favorite underground area for nasties in Khorvaire would be the Eldeen Reaches - aberration heaven, or beneath Karrnath - undead heaven, or the Lhazaar principalities where Vol hangs out. The depths below Sharn can harbor anything. Civilisation has built upon civilistion. There are nasty vampires, and mind flayers, who have marked out territories. And then there is Xen'drik, home of the drow and regressed giants. Eberron knows what evil lurks there. | | I have always been here. | |

| Geez, it's hard not to give away info on this critter and still ask reasonable questions about Khyber.
Thanks for the input so far guys, excellent.
