| Greeting to all who view this post. Well here is the
situation. We are playing a small game, one DM two players. There is a Half-Orc
Fighter/Barbarian/Eye of Gurmush and a Half-Orc Druid. Now we are both 12th
level and both have the leadership feat. Our leadership scores qualify us to
have 10th level cohorts. Here’s the question: What should we take on for our
cohorts? (keeping in mind we are the bad guys) | | "Well maybe Mr. T hacked the game and created a Mohawk class! Maybe Mr. T is handy with computers! Had that ever occurred to you Mr. condescending Director!" | |

| Are your characters part of some Orcish tribe/organization or do you want to keep an Orc theme going?
Either way, a stealthy/skillful character would be a nice addition to your party. Perhaps a Rogue/Assassin or Ranger would be a good idea. An Orc or Half-Orc Cleric of Gruumsh cohort for the Eye of Gruumsh, and a Ranger cohort for the Druid would be fitting if you want to keep some sort of Orcly theme.

| Hmm...interesting situation. If I were you I would have the druid look into having a couple of lower level druids and then use the rest of his followers on wolves, dire wolves, bears, dire bears, dire bats, and other assorted animals. For the barbarian I would go with a bard (orc wardrummer) or 2, and have the rest be fighters/barbarians/rangers. You don't really need wizards or clerics, as the druid is pretty potent even at low levels. Rangers get all the sneakyness of rogues, but better hit die and fighting abilities. Yeah. That's pretty much what I would do. Hope that helps | | Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light.--Dylan Thomas

| I'd take a cleric and a wizard for their support potential. The druid and barbarian are great damage outputters, but the group needs the others that can kep them up. Druids are great support healers, but are hard fr parties. With the right combination of buffing and terrain control a wizard and cleric one or two levels lower than the rest of party is really effective. You are missing the classic wizard and rogue roles so having those as your cohorts might be best. (I'm assuming followers are irrelevant for most situations, not necessarily true though).

| Clearly one should be a 10th level half-orc necromancer to build undead legions from all your slain enemies, the ones you don't eat that is. Good and crazy, possibly half blind. Picture a lot of crazed talk and foaming at the mouth. For pure style why not a 10th level elven rogue/assassin. Betrayer of his people, cursed by Correllon and now loyal to Gruumsh. A stone cold, unrepentant murder who takes unhealthy delight in his craft. That's how I'd roll. | | | |
