| Between the first three Monster Manuals, there really aren't very many
Collosal critters. I very rarely (if ever) use them, however, I look
forward to terrifying my PCs with the Colossal Red Dragon at some point.
Colossal critters are too big to live in most areas. They would seek
out the most remote areas to inhabit. For example, a colossal red
dragon would seek out the highest mountain peaks. The Terrasque would
probably wander off to the deepest cave it could find to nap in. A
colossal desert dweller would seek out the center-most region of the
largest desert available.

| IIRC there was a dragon magazine article a few years ago with the collosal template for creatures. I can't find the issue so if anyone remembers which one...... | | | |

One group I`m GMing at the mo' I`ve let a couple 'sneak peak' at the GarBlack. I know they'll tell the others
The size and immediate physical comparison with the GarBlack and a medium scares them.
They now that there is a dragon in a while that they will have to fight if they want to progress past a certain point.
They have know since almost the start of the realm, and its an obvious keynote to the storyline.
What a surprise they will get when I pull out the unseen ColRed instead. /cue evil laugh
