| | It states in Savage Species that a Flesh Golem cannot run. Is a charge considered running? Thanks in advance! | | Vindicated Night Below Champion of the Digestor!!! | No its not the same thing. Charging is just moving at least 10' straight at an ooponant and striking him with harder force...Its different from running.
I dont believe Zombies can run either. They can only take a move action or a standard action on their turn.....But they can charge. | | Champion of the Skulk Vindicated Champion of the Twig Blight | |

| Thanks Count! I'm going to be a 3rd level Flesh Golem bodyguard and I was researching my feat/item options. Tell me if this is this a reasonable dirty trick: cover myself in a contact/inhalation poison and charge the enemy spellcaster(s)! | | Vindicated Night Below Champion of the Digestor!!! Very nice...Spellcasters should usually hide behind other melee types...So if you have a straight line in wich to charge them they deserve what they get.
Are you the DM? If so I really like the Golems covered in poison. Great deadly encounter.
If its a PC however....Golems have an intelligence of "-". They are mindless...Gotta be rough to roleplay.

In addition, creautures that are limited to a move or standard action in a round can only move up to 1x their movement during a charge. As opposed to up to 2x base movement.

I dunno, sometimes at the end of night, it's felt like most of the players have been role playing mindless. | | "Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey, if it don't look like mutton again tomorrer." | My suggestion then Bull Rush to sweep aside the front line.

Quite easy actually. Just stand there silently.

(Dispite the weakness that are added.) I believe there's a penalty to Int something like -6 and they have a permanent Cha of 1 that can never be improved. I think I ended up with an Int of 10 and maybe a Wis of 12, so it's not "exactly" mindless. The monster class hints that the golem is awakened or has some sort of clarity. I can't remember the exact words. | | Vindicated Night Below Champion of the Digestor!!!
