It states in Savage Species that a Flesh Golem cannot run. Is a charge considered running? Thanks in advance!

No its not the same thing. Charging is just moving at least 10' straight at an ooponant and striking him with harder force...Its different from running.

I dont believe Zombies can run either. They can only take a move action or a standard action on their turn.....But they can charge.

Thanks Count! I'm going to be a 3rd level Flesh Golem bodyguard and I was researching my feat/item options. Tell me if this is this a reasonable dirty trick: cover myself in a contact/inhalation poison and charge the enemy spellcaster(s)!

Very nice...Spellcasters should usually hide behind other melee types...So if you have a straight line in wich to charge them they deserve what they get.

Are you the DM? If so I really like the Golems covered in poison. Great deadly encounter.

If its a PC however....Golems have an intelligence of "-". They are mindless...Gotta be rough to roleplay.

In addition, creautures that are limited to a move or standard action in a round can only move up to 1x their movement during a charge.  As opposed to up to 2x base movement.

You know, I keep thinking that after the new design team gets done with D&D 4e, D&D won't stand for Dungeons and Dragons anymore, because well, that's just not fun. It's old and stuffy. - Originally Posted by BabWryter on Kenzerco.com

I dunno, sometimes at the end of night, it's felt like most of the players have been role playing mindless.

My suggestion then Bull Rush to sweep aside the front line.

Could you take the Living Contruct Template in order to get intelligence? (Dispite the weakness that are added.)

I believe there's a  penalty to Int something like -6 and they have a permanent Cha of 1 that can never be improved. I think I ended up with an Int of 10 and maybe a Wis of 12, so it's not "exactly" mindless. The monster class hints that the golem is awakened or has some sort of clarity. I can't remember the exact words.
