| In the footnote to Preview 7, the text says Shoe is the author of the upcoming Eberron super-adventure Eyes of the Lich Queen. I read somewhere that it is due for release in March, next year, but cannot confirm this. It could be a high enough campaign to take off from the previously published Eberron modules, or it could be more stand alone, perhaps starting at L1 and continuing on.
Some speculation. The Lich Queen is Vol. Her Eyes are her agents - the Emerald Claw, plus other more secretive types? Location for the campaign. Maybe Karrnath where the Emerald Claw has a strong grip, even if Kaius III is trying to break their hold on his kingdom. Lhazaar Principalities, where Vol herself lives, or rather resides? Xen'drik, where her agents are investigating some powerful 'blood' relic? Looking forward to this one. | | I have always been here.

| I thought the Lich queen was Vlaakith? (as the upcoming Epic miniature)
Hope it's not too much an Eberron-only campaign. Would be more interested myself if it's easily converted to FR or Greyhawk.

| interesting as Vlaakith is the lich queen and was seen in a Dungeon mag adventure that I believe took place in Greyhawk and the Astral Plane. Issue 100 by the way incase people want too track it down. I'm not Eberron fan so I hope its easy to convert. | | Champion of the Peryton Vindicated Champion : Pit Fiend, Devourer ATG: Fog Giant DW: Duergar Priest RPG Only!!!! The Drumming Drunkn' DM | |

| Im sure there is more than one Lich Queen...Vaalkith was the boss of the big adventure in Dungeon Issue #100. That was before Eberron's time BTW.
As for the adventure itself...Im hoping it is very Eberron in flavor. If all the adventures WotC put out were generic or "Easily Convertable"..then what is really the point of putting out campaign settings?
Im guessing it will be very Eberron in flavor anyway...If it was compatable to any setting then it would be released as a setting-free adventure like RHoD was.

| Level 5-10.
Adventure can begin really anywhere in Khorvaire, since it moves the PCs where they need to be for the relevant parts of the adventure.
Is Vol involved? Perhaps... The PCs are liable to stumble into an intriguing web of mystery, as they travel about ******* looking for an ancient artifact that dates back to the end of the Age of Demons. It's likely that many others are looking for this same artifact - and not all those guys are nice...
The adventure provides opportunities to use a number of eberron themed minis - like a certain soldier, cultist, and pirate that many of you likely have many of already (or will have by the time the adventure comes out).
Adapting to a non-Eberron setting is possible, though a couple thematic elements would need to change. It's a good subject for a web enhancement, though... There are a couple aspects of the adventure that are really cool that could be incorporated into other adventures or campaigns (like a certain non-combat tavern encounter, and the way the adventure kicks off).
I'm looking forward to seeing how well it's received. I spent alot of time on it, as lead designer, so I'm excited. Biased, but excited. | | Professional Fan of DDM

My Eberron group ended Grasp of the Emerald Claw at level 8 or so, and I'm already going to have to scale Voyage of the Golden dragon for them - will this adventure be easy to scale?
