Between Forgotten Realms, Eberron, and Greyhawk (mainly fleshed out in Dragon and Dungeon Mags) I think we are just fine.

Not to mention 3rd party stuff out there like Dragonlance, Kingdoms of Kalamar, Ptolus, Freeport ect.
Even Goodman Games' Dungeon Crawl Classics is comming out with a Campaign Setting Box set this month.

Also from a DDM collector point of view..The more campaign settigns, the more setting-spacific minis that seem to annoy some people would be made.

I am, however, in favor of books that give a campaign flavor that DMs can draw upon such as Oriental Adventures or the environment books or Heroes of Horror.

So I say no new campaign setting is necessary.

Unless FR/Eberron are cancelled (and even then I'd see problems...), another campaign setting is not healthy for WotC and D&D.  This is the path to the dark side, the path of Lorraine Williams...  fragment your community into smaller and smaller pieces of pie until none of those slices can support you.  I "think" WotC has learned this lesson.

besides, we have Greyhawk.  What more do we need?!

No, no, no. We have plenty thank you.
