Has anyone run this campaign? Any advice for me, just about to start it up for 7 players?

One of these days WoTC will update their tournament page when I'm in the top 5... they never seem to do when I'm in that bracket :(

I'm running it right now, although we're having a slow advance. I've had close to a TPK with one PC and an accompanying NPC death, and another NPC stabilized at -6 or something like that, in Jazidrune in our last game session.

I'm running the game for 3 PCs and there were 2 NPCs with them, i intend on keeping that number.

Up to now, the adventure appears very neat and well thought out. However, there are a lot of sections in the book and page turning is becoming a bit of a burden. I've copied some useful information on other sheets in larger, easy-to-read hand-writing. For example, the stats for frequent opponents such as skulks and dark creepers are on a single sheet of paper.

Also, i haven't done it yet, but i recommend doing a one-page summary of the important actors in the city, e.g. Terseon Skellerang is the chief for the militia, who is on top of what temple, and so on, it helps reduce page-turning.

Otherwise, you should have a blast, it's a fun adventure!

I tried to run this one, but my current group has a problem with dungeon crawls....they can't pay attention during them and this adventure path is packed with dungeons crawls. I'm currently trying to have their characters go through Ravenloft instead. I do want to try running this adventure again though. It is a lot of fun and I know about half the group doesn't mind the dungeon crawl aspect.

I'm running it now (most of the way through Chapter 3) and with 7 players you should be fine, although you may find you need to insert a little extra content at some point to keep the experience levels at the recommended level when you're splitting it 7 ways. I skipped the 'extra' chapter (Drekthar's Way) because my group was doing fine on levels but you may want to include it. It isn't quite as focused or plot-relevant as the other chapters, unfortunately. Otherwise there are definitely some encounters to watch out for as far as party danger goes. So far I've had 2 character deaths along the way, one in an expected place and one unexpected. I don't want to spoil here - some of my players read these forums so I'd appreciate it if other posters avoided spoilers as well - but send me an email if you want my thoughts on what we've finished so far.
