| The party consists of all male palyers and characters. Wizard illusionist, Warlock, Paladin, Cleric and ranger who couldn’t make it this week. The party started off in the southeast vale’s Homlet for the Red Hand of Doom (plan on running the adventure later). The party started off in a tavern all not knowing eachother. A merchant barged in tired and exhausted asking anyone for help with the goblins attacking the roads. He offered 100 gold per person for anyone who helped make the trail from the homlet to the small town called burrows edge safe from goblin attack. He needed proof of there death and requested for goblin heads. The paladin couldn’t agree to that, so a compromise on goblin teeth was made. The cleric and paladin heard goblin and were interested. The money interested the wizard and a combination interested the warlock.
The party ventured off in the morning and after an hour on a trail saw a wagon that was overturned with a few dropped caravan guards. The PC’s saw the goblins and engaged. The Goblins won incitive and changed the pc’s. The wizard casted a lvl 1 illusion spell (don’t remember name) making the goblins think they were in a out house. A 10 foot square was placed around 2 of the 3 goblins. The goblins failed the save, as did the paladin and cleric. So now we have ½ the party thinking there is an outhouse infront of the goblins and the goblins are gone. They killed the 3rd goblin, and the cleric and warlock made quick work of the other 2. After the goblins were defeated a halfling merchant came out of his caravan and thanked the pc’s for saving her. The pc’s also tended to the guards wounds. The merchant offered 100 gold of store credit per PC and asked to be escorted to burrows edge. The halfling also said there were more goblins and the pc’s should talk to maillin the tavern dwarf for more information. On there way to town they were attacked by a druid and his wolf in which quick work was made. A wand of cure light wounds and wand of longstriding and scroll of charm animal were his belongings.
The PC’s reached burrows edge and the wizard wanted to get the item’s ID’ed. He went to a fortune teller/wizard shop and in which the pc wizard asked the for his items to get id’ed. The fortune teller offered to tell a fortune for 2 silver pieces. The wizard was skeptical but tried it anyways and asked the fortune of the one who had the wand. The fortune teller figured that the one who had the wand isn’t in good shape and said, “the future looks grim”. The wizard thought it was bogus but asked for his fortune for an additional 2 silver pieces. The fortune teller figured that the wizard was there for the goblin problem so he said, “the road of adventure lies ahead”. The wizard knew it was bogues at this point paid the 200 gold, got the wands ID’ed and took off. The Pc’s were offered 500 gold to end the goblin threat. All Maillin knew was that the goblins may be in a cave to the east. At this point the PC’s realize that they shoulda interrogated the goblins and find out were they came from. They decided to figure out something in the morning. (It was late because the paladin had to barry the slain goblins). The wizard doesn’t really like the warlock so he decided to mess with the warlock by casting ghost sound in his room when the warlock was sleeping. The warlock made the listen check to wake up and heard singing going on in his room. (The warlock was being a stick in the mud and decided not to roll play at all and said “i ignore it and go to bed”.) I rewared the wizard 100 exp for the good time and roll play.
The PC’s woke up and decided dressing as merchants would be the best way to lure goblins out to attack them. They tried talking the warlock to dress as a women to make them look weaker but the warlock threated to kill anyone who tried putting any womens clothing on him. The Wizard also got a drum to bang on to make a lot of noise to lure them out. The Paladin also Yoldoled and did a really bad job of it to (rolled a 3). So they make there way dressed as murcants banging on drums and yoldoling. They get ambushed after 3 hours of doing it. They make quick work of the goblin’s but were flanked from both sides. There were 4 of them. The paladin took the 1 side while the cleric took the other with the mage and warlock in the middle. The cleric dropped both on the one side. The wizard color sprayed the other side in which the paladin and the goblins failed the save. The 2 on the paladins side were eventually dropped but not dead. The cleric refused to let the goblins lived and tried killing everyone he could. The warlock said he would bluffing and eldridge blasting one to there death. The paladin wanted to help but was still knocked out by the color spray. The wizard casted ventriloquism on the cleric telling him that he was god talking to him and he should listen to the illusionist. (At this point the wizard screwed up and let the cleric that he was an illusionist). The cleric listend but refused to heal them. The warlock finished them off like his obstructionist self. Now there whole plan was ruined by bloodlust...... I gave them a serval check to see if they could find where the goblins came from. They rolled an 18 so i figured that was enough to fallow there trial. They fallow the trail and get to the cave. They kill the wolf and 2 goblins guarding the cave entrance and thats were the session ends. | | Zardnaar, One dork to rule them all. | |

| Thanks for the story. What level are the adventurers when the adventure starts?

| | It starts at lvl 1 and takes about 4 chars to level 3. Overall it's a pritty plain and simple adventure and very easy to run for newer DM's. | | Zardnaar, One dork to rule them all. | |

| | Good to hear, as "new DM" certainly applies to me. If I ever manage to line up some PCs, I'll have them give it a go. | | Call me: W.N. Gobo! originally posted by grim: While he is clearly insane, he does have a point. | |

| | I'm pritty sure the party will finish the adventure this sunday and I'll post the conclusion for it. The over all dificulty for it is low and i would think that 3 lvl 1 adventures starting it would be fine. I'm trying to work my way to the Red Hand of Doom which is an excellent adventure. I think any new DM would have no problem with running at all because everything is nicely laid out for the DM (s). | | Zardnaar, One dork to rule them all. | |
