Is probably reasonably close. I didn't include the retriever since it is a construct and lacks intelligence, so no hierarchy for it.

Didn't include the hell cat or Chain Devil. Hellcat would probably be between Erinyes and Bearded Devil. I doubt think the Hellcat has the int to lead other things though so I didn't bother. | |

Apart from those mentioned by Richard II you may consider to consult MM 2 and beyond as well as Fiend Folio and the Book of Vile Darkness for more evil outsiders. For example, the Molydeus, demon I'm championing, is nearly as powerful as the Balor, besides you got the Bar-Igura, Nabassu, Babau, Goristro, Retriever,... on the tanar'ri side. Not to quibble, but I believe you have the Glabrezu and Nalfeshnee reversed in order. This was pretty much the hierarchy from 1st Edition AD&D. In 2nd Edition they changed their names, added numerous fiends to both sides and did away with a strict order. They came up with categories like least, lesser, and true.
