| Hi everyone,
In my attempt to play a D&D game by email, i'm looking for an editable character sheet to use. I've seen a few, but most are not to my liking.
Any suggestions, or personal files that you'd like to share?

| Have you tried Hero Forge? You can select which books, races, etc, your builds are built on and then you can make character sheets by filling out excel spreadsheets.
When I first read your title, I readi it as "Edible character sheets". That would have been a totally different topic. | |

| Thanks for the posts guys. I've looked at heroforge and although it seems comprehensive and well done, i feel it's a bit too complicated since i'll be playing with a large group comprised of 50% beginners.
I was referred to this interesting site however http://www.rpgwebprofiler.net/ where the approach might not be as complete and automated as heroforge, but appears simpler and more accessible at first glance.

| Heroforge does take some work. However, I really think it's worth the effort getting to know it.
Saying that, I still use paper and pencil for my character sheets. I remember when I used to not only have one seet for a character but several pages and loving it! It's carried over since then.  | |
