| | I have an interest in playing a character that utilizes the mount to the highest degree, & I beleive there is a progression of Paladin/Beastmaster/Halfling Outrider/Cavalier that is suited to maxamize the potential of a mounted character. Assuming my base race is the Strong Heart Halfling, what is the best progression and acheivable mount all the way to ECL 20. If some one would be kind enough to list a completed character for me, with feats, skills, and a standard 25 point stat buy system, w/ all base stats starting at 8. You can mix and match any classes necessary, but I was just assuming the ones I listed above would probably be the core of such a creation. Please take this from a Character Optimization perspective, and for those reading this, I do not have access to the wizards board to attempt to find the information I seek. Thank you all! | | | |

| That's a tall order. I don't have the time to do that, but I will give advice if you make one.
One thing, you may want to start out with a Paladin/Druid or Paladin/Ranger mix (I would stick with Druid). The key to this build is to get Devoted Tracker. This allows your animal companion to be your special mount. Then 1 level in Beastmaster and go from there. That way, Beastmaster, the feat Natural Bond, and the other Pclasses all apply to the same creature and you can make your animal a thing to contend with.

| Why would you not have access to the Wizards board but you have access here?
You can try posting on Enworld and see if anyone would do this for you. But I doubt anyone would for the same reason you aren't...it's a lot of work. But try posting here:
http://www.enworld.org/forumdisplay.php?f=19
People post their characters there and sometimes people help others create characters.

| Well, the reason I don't have access to the Wizards forums, is that I post from work. Unfortuantely, where I work, they have quite the elaborate Fire Wall system. Thank you for the suggestion though, for Enworld, but it turns out I can't visit that web site either. Also, I posted on this forum to spark a little conversation, as their isn't much action on this section of the board. I will attempt to design my own progression and post it for critique. Once again, thank you for all the suggestions and comments! | | | |
