| I've been dying to run an encounter using the Clawfoot Rider minis. I
finally have a chance to use them in a jungle scenario. The only thing
is that I believe that mini originated in an Eberron book and I don't
own any Eberron books.
I'm using a low level Halfling as the rider so I don't want to use the
stats from the minis card since it's a CR 9. But I was wondering if
there's actual stats for the mount (is the mount called a Clawfoot?).
Is the CR of the mount a high CR? Does the mount have any special
properties or is it basically just a riding lizard?
I don't want to buy a pdf/book just for a single creatures stats, so
does the mount appear in any non Eberron material that I can use to
mine for stats?

| IIRC, it's just a basic velociraptor. I don't know if those are statted out at all in any MM, though.

| I read somewhere that it was a Deinonychus but when I looked it up in the MM the Deinonychus is a large creature. So I didn't think they were actually the same creature.

| According to the Eberron Campaign setting, the clawfoot is related to the deinonychus and is only medium and a CR 2 creature. Since it is different from the MM entry, I don't know where you are going to find the material other than in that book, unless it's in another MM (maybe MM4 or the future MM5?).Â

| Hmm, what Eberron book is it in? Maybe I'll just make a trip to Barnes & Nobles and copy the stats onto a scrap piece of paper. Unless someone wouldn't mind emailing me the stats. Surely one creatures stats isn't a big deal to the copyright army out there
