| I'm not so fuzzed out by the size difference to actually use one over the other, and would not mind using both old and new figs side by side. I like all the frost/fire giant sculpts up to now (apart for the olympic flame-style forgepriest hairdo) and i'm looking forward to using them in RPG eventually.

| | Right now i'm running a giants campaign and I mix and match with the older fire/frost giants, the forge priest, king snurre and the Jarl. If I have enough the older frost and fire giants are regular troops and snurre and the Jarl become leaders or tougher fighters and the Forgepriest becomes the big boss in a firegiant battle. Between me and another guy in my group we have 5 frost giants, 4 fire gaints, 2 king snure's, 4 forgepriests, and 3 jarls so were pretty much covered for any frost/fire battle. | | | |

| I use the Jarl as a Jarl, GoL Frosties and repainted Kords as the normal frosties. I use the Forgepriest as a Fire Giant leader, GoL flamies, Snurres, and repainted Kords as normal flamies.

| I would do similar to zenthrus, although Snurre would be the leader. I like the ones that represent the old G1-2-3 module leaders as the leaders.
I'm also like Sky in that size is not a big thing for me. Clarity in identifying who is who is a lot more important for my games, but to each his own. | |

| Since the title line is on the base of the mini, and the minis aren't upside down, King Snurre just becomes "Fire Giant #2" and "Fire Giant #3."

| While I would love new uncommon versions of the fire and frost giants, I have enough models to work through a scenario with the existing models. I try to use the originals as the foot soldiers with the Jarl as a leader, Snurre is a king. Have not decided what the Forgepriest will end up being next time giants are needed.

| | What about a fire giant cleric, as the name implies? It'd be a nasty foe by itself even with just a few levels, especially if you say clerics are non-associated class levels as per the MM, which we learned to our horror in Living Greyhawk is not a good way to go. | |

For fire, I have 2 each of Snurre, Priest and Fire Giant, so I just hodge podge it. | |

| Well, I might indeed do that. Or the Forgepriest might be a big bodyguard for Snurre, or maybe he is the chief and Snurre is his bodyguard?
