| [GAMEDAY SPOILERS]
Whoa, that's a bunch of stuff! I can tell you off the bat that there are 5 pregenerated 1st level characters (Althaea Gildleaf, Female Eladrin Wizard; Desand Quickfoot, Male Half-Elf Rogue; Durgen Darksteel, Male Dwarf Fighter; Evon of Pelor, Male Human Cleric; and Kelric, Male Human Fighter, each with repainted minis) and two adventures: a scenario called Into the Shadowhaunt (featuring a shadow, animated statues, prisoners, hobgoblins, skeletons, and an elf) and an episode involving a fight with a Large White Dragon. Shadowhaunt looks like a typical kidnapping/rescue scenario, but there is in fact some rewarding diplomacy/role-playing potential here. The adventure takes place on a map made up of tiles, while the dragon battle uses Hailstorm Tower. I'm told that there is a Large Green Dragon mini (from the Starter Set) included as well, perhaps as a prize, since it does not show up in the adventures.
I can post more on Saturday after the game.
Hope that this helps.

I'll happily provide more detail on Saturday once the gaming is done. | | I dance along a colored wind / Dangle from a rope of sand. / You must say goodbye to me. | Rakhamon: Well, uh. Games day 08. There is NO, I repeat NO promotional miniature or repaint Rakhamon: From our material, all minis are identical to production minis. Rakhamon: Games day 08 player kits are not in the same format as the ones from last fall. You get a character sheet, a special issue d20, and a production-identical player character mini. Rakhamon: Character sheets are simple b/w Rakhamon: For the games master there's a copy of the adventure, a map, and a bag of production-identical monster miniatures. The monster minis do NOT come with cards. stephengroy: are there all needed minis, or are any missing, like last year's Ice Mephit? Rakhamon: Yes, unless I miscounted. The notable mini in the DM bag is a Large White from NB Rakhamon: But again, I stress -NO- cards Rakhamon: The GD08 map is two-sided again, full color. One side is a reprint of Hailstone Tower from Frostfell Rift, the other is a composite of dungeon tiles, and not skirmish-usable stephengroy: what's special about the D20? Rakhamon: I didn't examine the d20 in detail. It's listed as a "special edition die" stephengroy: It was mentioned the White's for Hailstorm. Is that a separate adventure from Into the Shadowhaunt ? Rakhamon: Well, what confused me is that I thought there'd be a skirmish-type scenario included, bt we only found the "Into the shadowhaunt" in the box. We're checking up if that's correct or not Rakhamon: Our supplier is very spotty, tho Rakhamon: Oh yeah, the PC minis do have cards. They are from Dungeon of Dread Rakhamon: I know that three of the minis are Defiant Rake, Dwarf Warlord and Human Fighter, I'm assuming Cleric of Pelor was in there

| Yes, the Cleric of Pelor is there; and the fifth mini is the Female Elf Sorceress/Conjurer/Evoker? from the Starter Set.
The White Dragon encounter is found on the final pages of an otherwise uninspired stapled collection of D&D-themed games like charades and 20 questions. Flip to the last two pages for the White Dragon encounter.

| I've collected a full pack of the minis (unopened usually), the module and map for all of the last 4 years. Unfortunately, this year I had to work out of town, and wasn't able to do this. Anyone have an extra they would be willing to trade for an older set? Or even for other items on my trade list?

A belated response:
It went really well. Max number of people would of been about 70 I guesstimate. went till quite late too. Chris and Josh were run off their feet serving munching.
Had most of shop moved around to fit the five tables of the gameday module, plus they kept the normal play area in back. Peter demo'd minis (star wars and ddm), someone run the keep adventure and the inevitable magic games filled another two tables. Had two sessions, and then was another 20 odd people who stayed on for a third game. I started at 10am, and left at 10:30 pm, others went until to about 12 I think.
Gamequest was jumping. Great vibe, no pains in the butt, and people pretty much gave it a fair go & enjoyed.
In odd coincidence my second game included two of my normal game group :| Which was a shame for them more than me. Least they got to play a dfferent RPG.
We're thinking of trying to run something similar once every three months or so. Espically as looks less and less likley to be a vorpal con this year ):
