| Imagine a hidden rogue in a lair of a beholder. If she managed to keep herself unseen, then drinks a potion of invisibility, and is dimension-doored or teleported to the "back" of the beholder (meaning just behind its central eye). Could the rogue successfully sneak attack the beholder? I guess so, but I expect your opinions.

| | I don't know the answer for sure, but if it happened in my game, I would allow the sneak attack, but probably would require an opposed listen/move silently check if the teleport/dimension door didn't also occur on the rogue's turn. | | Eye dun no why youse guys think im not relly a person im jimgang from canada but im moving to cali as soon as i get a master card -Jimgang So, you stand at your grave, Has your soul yet been taken away? That sounds quite reasonable, of course.

| How does the rogue see where to teleport to without the beholder seeing the rogue? In all honesty, if the rogue was dimension doored I'd give them a surprise action just for having the drop on the beholder due to unforeseen speed of the act (basically being able to act before the initiative order), but I can be generous at times. | | Greyhaze's DDM Spoilers Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger.
