| Currently I use a few DDM's for PC's.
I use the Hobgoblin Sgt Repaint as my 1/2 hobo Death/Pestilence Cleric.
I use the Harbinger Lizardfolk as my Lizo Druid (lots of summonable fun to use as well).
My wife uses the Cleric of Nerull Repaint as her human female Death Cleric.
They all seem to fit pretty well, though I am kinda in the market for
a lizardfolk shaman type mini to better represent the druid.
I have used dark haven painted minis for all of my older PC's.
These figs are so much easier. | |

| Damn. None of the characters I regularly play can easily be represented by a DDM. Except maybe my Druid, I use the Dire Bear for him, since he spends about 90% of his time in-game as a bear.
My other characters are a frustration in this department. My Arcanis character uses a khopesh, and do you know how hard it is to find a mini with a khopesh that ISN'T Undead?! They don't exist! As for Dr Johann von Kruglor, my Eberron PC...just don't ask. Not even IK has a mini that looks like a Hobgoblin in a trenchcoat, with a walking stick and pince-nez. | |

| For my Ranger/ Fighter/ Tempest I use the Human Wanderer with a custom paint job to represent the Cloak of the Arachnid and Mithral Chainmail.
For our Warhammer game, I am playing a young Knight Errant... I use the mounted Paladin and the alternate paint job Stalwart Paladin.

| In Dragonlance campaign my Druid used GFD. In Silver Marches, my paladin/cleric of Tyr is a painted metal paladin. In one Homebrew, my L15 cleric with a fortified tower shield uses the Cleric of St. Cuthbert mini. In a second homebrew, my mage uses mordenkainen.
For my Eberron campaign, several of the PCs use minis. Warforged Fighter uses Warforged Hero, mage uses Renegade Warlock, Cleric uses Aasimar Favored Soul, Elf ranger uses Valenar Commander.

1st group (I'm acting DM) :
Gnome Bard -> Elf Swashbuckler (due to mini size and rapier.)

| Group #1 (I DM) uses Druid of Obad-Hai (druid), Human Wanderer (female elven fighter/scout/dervish), Aramil (warlock), Hexblade (rogue/favored soul/hexblade), Emerald Claw Soldier (fighter/cleric), and an unpainted metal cleric (cleric).
Group #2 (I play a necromancer/cloistered cleric/mystic theurge) uses Hill Dwarf Warrior (dwarf fighter/stone lord), Dragonblade Ninja (rogue/wizard), Nebin (halfling rogue/thief acrobat), and my painted metal robed wizard manifesting a spectral skull.
Group #3 (I play a dwarf cleric) uses Cleric of Moradin (dwarf cleric of Moradin), Erinyes (fey'ri bard), Barbarian Mercenary (half-orc barbarian heading toward bear warrior), an unpainted metal winged elf (avariel sorcerer/favored soul), and an unpainted archer (elf sorcerer/scout headed toward arcane archer).
Even though some of the fits are less than perfect (Nebin? ugh), I'd still rather see them than unpainted metal. The major drawback to metal -- aside from cost, which isn't a big difference when it comes to Rare monsters -- is that they have to be painted. If people aren't gonna paint 'em, I don't understand why they buy 'em. | |

| I'm a DM so I get to use all kinds of minis. [}:)] The players in my game don't like to use the DDMs they prefer unpainted metal minis.[V] There is only one player that uses a DDM, he plays a female druid and uses the healer to represent his character.
Actually I was playing a MT in a game that just folded and I used Andre the errr... Adventuring Wizard. I used Mordy to represent my Wizard in the game previous to that one. | |

| Right now the closest to my Exalted Barbarian would be the Half-Giant from GOL. Unfortunatly Tyrvald does have a heavy black beard as well, so realy He's more a medium sized frost giant with a stupidly huge sword(cloud's sword) rather than the axe.
I'm actually using a modified reaper barbarian for him. Although if I paint up the Direbear a golden white color it would be the perfect model for his Anima banner. | |

| We were picking minis to represent characters in our DL campaign, and it was very easy, except for my dual-light mace wielding rogue. I ended up going with the Village Priest. :/

| The Psion would've been Evermeet Barbie but he had already used her for an NPC (when I was a changeling rogue) (I died) so I went with the healer instead. All my other characters are metal minis though ... most of the female minis don't look quite right for what I play.
