| After session 2, the PC's are a little more cautious. Investigating the main part of the Moathouse, they discovered and fought a Monitor Lizard, a Huge Viper and then descended into the dungeons. There, they discovered a large storeroom. When investigating, they were surprised by a large number of undead... 
Another pointing out the druid amongst the zombies...
And finally, the druid (Wislayn) surrounded by zombies...

| and the quest continues...the party re-enters the dungeon and after a bit of exploring, meets Lubash the ogre... 
...deciding to go back the other way, they find out what kind of creature would live in a torture chamber...
...and after more exploring, they encounter some gnolls - unfortunately, negotiations broke down...
...the aftermath of the gnoll fight (note the dwarf fighter and druid both incapacitated)...

| ...and the party (after more exploring) encounters guards prepared to repel them...
...Lareth the Beautiful makes his entrance...
...some guards down, the ranger down, and while the party looks on helplessly, Lareth casts Death Knell on an unconscious Orlit...
...and attacks the rest of the party...
...and fells the druid (crushing his skull)...
...and luckily, a magical arrow from the bard drops Lareth...

| ...and from 2/20/08, the party entered the main structure of the Temple...after exploring the ground floor, they descended to the lower level...and found that after entering a room, that it was occupied...
...the swooping attacks by the harpies frustrated the party...melee was almost useless to them...luckily, the druid summoned a hippogriff to help...
...and a group of ghouls decided to investigate the noise...
...most were turned, but soon after they were defeated, another group (with ghast leaders) surprised the party via a secret door...

| ...2/27/08...the party keeps exploring, moving North through the temple - they find a few minor treasures, battle a thirst of Stirges (twice) and stumble on an augury chamber...emboldened, they enter a huge room with an earthen floor...
And one of the priests there (of the Earth Temple) summons allies...
After a very tough battle (which killed the druid's animal companion), the party defeats the priests, and topples the altar - banishing the elementals...

another angle
...after freeing the captives (even the orcs), they head back down in and find more prisoners - and are attacked while freeing them...
and the undead attack escalates...they eventually proved victorious, and have now freed over 2 dozen prisoners...
