| The brigands dispatched and elven music box (believed to be a key) retrieved, the adventurers return to town.

A lady of the night (prostitute) beseechs their aid, she's behind this week and some muscle was sent to lay claim. Of course the young and noble Merrick (Ranger) saw that they were paid up and then some, no blood being shed.
Returning to an Inn to dine and sleep, they learn from the sex worker that Elves hide within the sewers. Trevan a Cleric of Kiri-Jolith (PC #6) had been searching in vain for Elven refugees and so offers to accompany them in the morning.
After aquiring a sewer map, other equipment, and much jibing the young Merrick (Ranger) for not taking up with the women he'd paid for, they set out for answers beneath the city.

Not having traveled far they are accosted by a very drunken Ogre, prudence prevailed and only a Wizards sleep spell was needed. The Good Cleric Trevan not allowing any looting of the comatose giant.

Almost near the much deliberated upon sewer entrance, they stumble upon an old quarrel ended. Elf in black has slain an sickly leperous elf. Few questions were asked, they promptly felled the assasionous elf and prevented his flight. Just after several other leperous elves stumble upon them with many questions of their own. Patrolling Dark Knight prevents any in depth dicussion, our PCs will have to run diversion if the elves are to escape.

| We resume this week with the guys running diversion against a Dark Knight Patrol and allowing some refugee Silvanesti elves to escape to the sewer

Surrender don't come easy to Lorinele (Swashbuckler) and he fled to the sewer. Lucien (Warlock) also bolts leaving his friends to certain imprisonment.

After the main party is escorted away for "questioning", Lucien (Warlock) joins the Swashbuckler in the sewer. They soon find themselves outnumbered by goblins, but finish them handily

The Nerakan Knights question the PCs, many bluff, and intimidate rolls are failed. While waiting imprisoned for further questioning, the party decides to be allowed to be rescued. A mysterious elf shows them to a sewer entrance, Trevan (Cleric) had to be forced by an Ogre wanting to benifit from their good fortunes and political ties. The flight carries them to the sewer, though are soon accosted by a small horde of dire rats.

The two deserters lost in said sewer, soon hear the commotion and come to the aid of their party. Several rats get dosed to sleep and a Warlock summoned spider swarm wreaks havoc. Afterwhich they make their way to the eleven refuge and find out that even the eldest knows little of this elven music box but legends. Need more information they agree to brave the desert, heading to an ancient temple housed in a valley closed by landslides since the Cataclysm. | | Champion of the Kender ckissee - "providing TPK's since 2007" Albert Einstein never once said that if the bees disappeared, "man would have only four years of life left" but the theory is a scary prospect.

| The journey to Hurim continues, following the mountain's foothills they should reach the ancient valley in three days time.

Hot on the trail of Draconian tracks, suspecting the same one's guiltly of stealing some Giant Eagle egs. They are ambushed from rocky outcroppings above.

Toby (Kender) moves to sneak attack and Lorinele (Swashbuckler) rushes to Lucien's(Warlock) aid, finishing these two scouts quickly they move back to the trail.

Finding the dragonmen's hideout they move to rescue the Eagle eggs, our brave Solamnic Ranger's (Merrick) zest quickly has him surrounded. The fight is long, the Cleric (Trevan) is severly wounded, and the party eventually prevails. | The desert trek in continuance, they encounter a roving band of nomads in celebration. Joining in celebration they come to speak with the tribe's seeress and get some possible hints into goings on and their future. A spirit of the Cheif's not long dead daughter comes to speak with the party, urging haste and trying to relay some warning.

Air Elementals disrupt the spirit's visit and parley. The tribe's Cheif decides this surely must be an omen of the gods and decides to escort the heroes the final two day leg to the cursed Valley.

Departing the desert nomads company they make their way through the rocky entrance down to the Valley and are assailed by starving-mad mountain lions.

Making their way through the fog filled valley, they hear a voice. The sound leads them to Shroud, a Kender Nightstalker talking to a skull and some of the valley's spirtual inhabitants. Having poked around a bit he warned them away from going to the overgrown orchard because of an insane inhabitant. The Kender (Toby) promptly took off towards it, the rest of the party moved to examine a nearby watchtower.

Alone the kender makes his way through an orchard unvisited by any living being in 700 years. He finds a hot springs and a giant Oak, in which lives a dryad. Nearly a millenium of naught but undead at night and a very strong curse has played havoc on the tree woman's wits. Toby (Kender) is warned he's unwelcome and will promply become plant food, unheeded he's promptly put to sleep and the vines move in to feed.

Making use of his spiderclimb the Warlock (Lucien) investigates the watchtower's third floor having come in from the roof. He finds the skeleton and spectre of the man once in charge of defense of the valley. In their exchange the Warlock learns that the undead warrior haunts only because of a vow to never rest untill all of his men have passed to the next world.

The rest of the party, led by Shroud, take the long way around to the tower's front entrance. Surprised as a shadow creature comes through the wall and saps strength from Merrick (Ranger). It leaves after blows are traded and our Cleric fails to turn it. The party thinks it's defeated. They move towards a trap door discovered earlier by Shroud.

In the basement they feel the cold and the hatred of the men that starved to death while trapped in the towers basement and are attacked by another shadow. It leaves after the Warlock (Lucien) shows up and wounds it.

As the Warlock relays his encounter up top, Shroud realizes the shadows are still present. The shadows move to trap the party in the basement, one gets turned by Shroud.

It is realized that most of the party are ill-equipped to wound these foul incorporeal beasts and due to the curse hovering most everywhere the Cleric (Trevan) has little luck in turning. Lucien (Warlock) gives up a magic rapier he'd aquired from the Elf assassin and since concealed from the swashbuckler (Lorinele) and moves towards the turned one. Only the Cleric (Trevan) loses more strength in finishing the shadows and he receives a shocking burst longsword in farewall to the ghostly sergeant | | Champion of the Kender ckissee - "providing TPK's since 2007" Albert Einstein never once said that if the bees disappeared, "man would have only four years of life left" but the theory is a scary prospect.

The decision to look for the kender was not a unaminous one, but they made their way to the wild orchard. As they near the great oak they spot the wee ones toes sticking out of a mess of vines. The Dryad issues her warning as she did before and the swashbuckler (Lorinele) moves against her, while shrugging off a charm spell. Lucien (Warlock) and Merrick (Ranger) start to dig round Toby (kender) but the vines recoil and attack. Conflict diffuses as the Cleric (Trevan) realizes he can cure the Oak and therefore the Dryads madness. Dryad rewards them with her meager posessions and leaves to ponder alone the past. With a Kender in poor shape they return to the guard tower to rest the night and heal. No one ventures out where the restless dead await and the morning comes none too soon.
They venture to the valley's plateau and to the temple atop. Little investigation is done as the eager Kender charges into the pyramidal structure. Witin the antechamber and the entrance they find yet more destruction and experience a vision of Ogres raiding this very place, shedding light on some mystery

Descending a level they find some former living quarters only one door remaining. Inspecting the door, it has no knob or keyhole and the kender (Toby) discovers it secretes a sticky substance. He tastes it and the party is given a breif reprive from chatter as his tongue is stuck to the roof of his mouth. The Ranger's (Merrick) knowledge of dungeons determines that the door could only be a Mimic and battle ensues.
