I've always been a DM who will let their player go with any allignment that's non evil. But, I have to say that CN has bene a tough one. Players that I have seen tend to play it as an I can do anything I want thing and it gets old. Now I would only let and experienced player use it who I thought would handle it well and also only if the campaign allowed it to be feasable to play that allignment.

CN = Jayne Cobb (firefly/Serenity)

I had a player who always played CN since it let him do what ever he wanted to do. Well untill I started changing his AL. You do to many bad/good things, and you will change in my game.

One of my fav. characters was a CN Warlock with a Wand of Wonder. Man that was a fun character... never figured out why the other players killed him. (Just a tip never make leafs grow out of a cranky rogue to try and cheer him up [)] ).

Nice example with Jayne. I never thought of that. That's a good one.
