Nope...I didnt say it backwards. It was a varient Players Handbook that Monte said could replace the WotC PH.
Later in time WotC made "Unearthed Arcana" wich was the book your thinking of.
I must be confused. I thought that Wizards just rehashed stuff that was in the original book. I have never actually looked at Arcana Unearthed, only Unearthed Arcana. At least we can credit Monte with the title, though I think I like it better as, Unearthed Arcana. | |

| Monte cant even be creditied with the title.
Unearthed Arcana was a 1st edition book. When Monte wrote his own version of the Players handbook he gave it the backwards name in honor of the old book...considering his version of the PHB is all about varient rules.
Later WotC released a 3rd edition version of UA. | |

| Don't know if I'll get it but it does look dang interesting. I have my own homebrew with over 24 years in it, so I'm concerned mainly with plug-in ability...I just want to take things like stores
But heck, go get a side job for one day if you can't afford it. Help a friend move, or do manual labor one day of your life, and think about Ptolus while you do it, and then just bite the bullett. For me, I'm a professional astrologer and I get $150 for doing someone's voice recorded chart interpretation, so the way I think of these things is hey, that's only one chart I have to do, which take's me about 4 hours time with prep, pre-study, and voice recording to cd. Ptolus might just be worth it from what I've read about it! | |
