Before I head off to work this evenin, it now looks like I have a 50/50 chance of making it to skirmish next week. Anyone know if there is any chance of there still being Tiles and Promos available? Right, probably hoping too much there. [:D]

| Next Thursday Marc said he'd give out the february stuff. So Hall of Heroes tile and whatever the repaint is.
Last thursday we got january stuff (broken wall tile, gnoll repaint) and on saturday I think we're getting march stuff. | |

It was fun to get out and skirmish for a bit, even though you guys did beat up on me fairly well. I did get my revenge a little in that second match, but I have a way to go before I reach the same level as the two of you.

Just wanted to let you guys know that Gord at Face-Off has quoted $12.50 for his individual pack price for Deathknell. I assume that the usual 10% discount applies to case buying. Our group is getting all ready for the great case opening later this month! I'm emberassed to tell you how many cases we ordered. Dangle a Beholder in front of us and we lose all self control. [:D]

I think you are right Richard if we don't see any improvement after Deathknell then we have a problem.

| Hello all,
Tonight's skirmish session at Gameknight saw three of us out. It would have been nicer with more, but we had some good skirmishes.
Where is everyone else?
As for Deathknell, Gameknight will open at 10:00 on the 26th and there will be a Deathknell based tournament at 11:00 according to Mark and Scott. That will give everyone a chance to try out their new treasures.
So, with one week to go, what is everyone in the local area waiting for?
I know I want dragons, and the Thaskor looks pretty neat as well, and the Grell.

| Acording to Justin at Galaxy, they're having their pre-release tournament Saturday the 19th at Noon. $40 gets you your Abberations Starter pack and a deathknell booster. I would imagine the entry fee is also included in the $40. I forgot to ask if prizes would be comparable to the last pre-release tourney. Someone else call and let me know, I've bugged him twice already.
Format for each match is to the death as much as possible, says Justin and no points awarded for tile grabbing. Justin wants to see a fast pace of play and he says he'll be penalizing those who do any stalling. | |

Prizes are the same as the abberations prerelease.
6 boosters for 1st.
4 for 2nd
1 for 3rd and 4th. | |

| There were several newer players there, hopefully they come out for the regular tournaments.
Short summary would be me and another guy making it to the finals. He offered to draw and given that he'd beat me soundly in the round robin I accepted and we each took home five boosters.
I ended up getting an ambush drake, greenfang druid, griffon, fiendish monstrous scorpion, and death knight. Also got the zombie white dragon I pulled for the tournament and a chuul in my aberrations starter.
I will most definitely be there on saturday. | |

Sounds like you had a good time. Interesting pulls of rares there for you. How do you like the minis now compared to your previous impression. I know that you were not impressed with the Scorpion before. What about now that you have one?

Scorpion sucks! Everything else I saw at the tournament seemed great though. I faced off against Ettin Skirmishers many times and found them to be easy to take down withing a round or two at the most. Nice sculpt and great RPG piece that skirmisher, you just wouldn't see me using him in tournaments.
I know you were directing the question at Richard but that's my 2 cents.

I understand that. I have found out that I have to work on Saturday afternoon, so I will pick up minis in the morning, trade a bit, maybe get in one skirmish, and then off to work for 13:00.
